Very neat design and easy to operate. Arrives fully assembled with no fiddly parts to fit. Once the coffee and water reservoirs are filled and the machine is powered up it carries out a purge cycle (I found that it needed two operations before it was ready). Just select the strength and cup size and press the cup button and off it goes; producing an excellent brew with a good crema. I found that the preset temperature was fine but my preference is for a stronger brew so selected the maximum strength. The machine is reasonably quiet in use and occupies little space on the worktop compared to some other makes.Reliability is yet to be proved as it is early days but it appears to be well made.
pjmeasy to cleangood tasting coffeegood size water containerLooks good. Need to empty waste water catch a little too often but not so bad - a bit of a picky complaint. It is fine if sink is nearby and not far from office.
StephenI love that you get fresh coffee. It'sgood to be able to change the strength of the coffee. I like how easy it is to adjust for the cup size. Opening it up to clean is very easy to do although a bit messy. Once you have it set up it's just 2 buttons to press to get your coffee. Easy to refill the coffee and water.. The water tray at the bottom seems to get filled very quickly and its messy to empty. It is quite noisy.
PaulEverything Is perfect!!!.
DeividasWe love our coffee machine. Everyone that visits loves our coffee. I invested in one of these bean-cup machines because making a cup of coffee from freshly ground beans really makes a difference - especially when you drink espresso. We use this every single day. I clean it when it reminds me and wipe it down when required. We purchase good beans and treat the machine well and so far it treats us as well. Unlike some other reviews I also want to confirm that a full cleaning cycle ensure you clean and descale the water tank and pipes AND the dry grinder and mill. I would highly recommend to maintain both the machine and quality of the coffee that you perform both when the indicator tells you.
kaosfusiongreat machine, easy to use and makes good coffee.. cleaning water tray and grinds is a bit messy as the tray is quite large and full of water when it needs to be cleaned.
CarolineBeautiful coffee flavour. None
MarieAmazing.
1st bean to cup machine I have owned. I have thoroughly enjoyed trying different beans and now have some favourite blends.
Cleaning and maintenance is a bit of a faff but soon get used to it, keep the instructions safe and handy.
Much better than the Tassimo I previously used.
Happy customer, no problems well priced machine !!!!

David AllenEasy to use and makes excellent coffee. Looks great too.. Needs cleaning frequently.
GeorgeI've been looking for a reasonably price bean to cup machine since using one of the Krupps machines about 5 years ago. The Melitta certainly delivers a great cup of coffee and has replaced my Tassimo machine for daily use.
I live in a hard water area, so maintenance is essential on the machine to prevent limescale build up, it's a bit of a faff as you have to remove bits, and put them back in the correct sequence, but it's a small price to pay for a great cup of coffee.
The ability to adjust the cup size means you can have anything from expresso to americano in any strength you want, and you can make 2 cups (or one strong cup) at the same time.
Wanted to use it for a while before leaving a review, and I can quite happily say that it's worth the money (and effort) as it delivers a great cup of coffee. I would advise buying the anti-calc and cleaning tabs with the machine, as you will need them to keep it working properly.
Overall I'm really happy with the product, and at nearly 1/3 of the price of the Krupps machine it's brilliant
