After making yet another coffee this morning, I thought I'll finally write a review. I've been using it for 6 years and I can say that this is excellent value for money (Paid 118GBP back in 2011). Keep in mind that this is a simple, reliable espresso maker so don't expect fancy dials, options etc., but having said that it's been built to last! My only 2 objections are: machine is quiet light so sometimes it's tricky to hold it down while tightening coffee holder and also for the same reasons machine can vibrate especially if not 'descaled' for a long time. Apart from worked flawlessly.

Standard traditional coffee maker, takes a bit of getting used to but once mastered makes a lovely cup of coffee. It is worth noting that this does make quite a lot of noise and can make a mess if you aren't quick enough! The only drawback I found after awhile was the pressure adjustments..ie.sometimes you had to wait to make the milk straight after making a coffee etc. Otherwise very sturdy and very good.

For the price, I think this is an amazing piece of kit. You get plenty of accessories, and the little cup heater on the top is absolutely awesome.
Works brilliantly with the coffee grinder by DeLonghi too.
Would highly recommend if you are a coffee fan, and looks beautiful on the counter too.
Not too big, and not too small, and has a decent reservoir for water.

This is my second machine, the first having expired after 6 years hard work. This machine is better than the last, producing a great espresso and the steamer is really good. Not only that it looks pretty cool anway with it's retro design. Also Great Value for money from Amazon. The machine came from Itay quicker than expected and I would recommend it to anyone.

Before buying this machine I researched and drank plenty of coffee and this machine was one of the best.

Bought it as a birthday present for my husband! He loves it!

De'Longhi Icona... where do I start?I bought this product over 3 years ago and I have used it virtually every day since. The build quality is fantastic, it looks very smart (I bought the red version), its easy to clean and requires virtually no maintenance.The manual does say to de-calcify once every 6-12 months but I have never needed to and there are no signs of calcification.Great quality at a very reasonable price and I would definitely buy it again should it ever stop working.

We bought this machine two years ago. It was our first coffee maker. We have been very pleased with how it works and after daily use for nearly two years it is looking as good as new. It was a lot cheaper than many others we considered but we have no complaints about the quality. The only improvement would be if you could place a slightly taller cup under the nozzle. As it is, it really only accomodates quite short cups (which luckily we have.)

The delivery was very fast. It arrived next morning after being dispatched. The machine itself is as good looking as the picture and worked very well too. It would have been even better if there weren't so much noise when the coffee's dripping through.

I've had several similar machines over the years and this is far and away the best.The product itself is of very high quality. It's too early yet to make any judgements on longevity but after several weeks we've seen zero problems and everything looks quite sturdy.We never use the milk steamer so can't really say how it performs.The most important this is that it makes a most excellent coffee.

Everything I expected. Makes a nice coffee simply and the milk warming facility is great.Well worth the buy as long as it lasts!

when i got the coffee maker i got the scoop and i only got the i cup filter i was supposed to get the 2 cup filter which i didn't get what can i do to get that as well

Good little machine although did take some time to get used to it. Now moved on to the bigger bean to cup machine and very pleased with this.

Used every day this machine makes lovely coffee and easy to clean, only negative is the rattling of metal base.

A great little coffee machine, simple to use and good coffee. I have used it every day since I got it. Not too tricky to clean and quick to warm up.

Very compact, light, easy to use, sleek and even sexy looking espresso machine. Makes great and thick crema.Great colour, very quick shipment, safe packaging. I've had it for almost 2 years now - works flawlessly... The only thing I am not 100% happy with is the fact that the standard cappuccino cups I have are too wide - I can put only 1 of them on the warming surface. But not a big deal, perfectly happy to fill the cups with hot water while frothing the milk.Definite 5 stars.
