Love my Breville instant cappuccino maker, you can make so many different combinations of coffee with and it's much cheaper than buying one of those machines that you have to buy expensive pods for.You basically add your favourite instant coffee to the machine, add either milk or water to the container and away you go.You can also add things like hot chocolate (my favourite), whisky, vanilla, cinnamon or whatever takes your fancy, but obviously read the instructions first.

Super cappuccino...but with an odd "plastic-y" smell and taste from the hot water container cap. Anointed it with lemon juice and other smell-destroying products...but the smell persists. Such a shame! Can't really offer friends a lovely cappuccino at the moment!

Good value for money. I like that I can just use instant coffee.The milk is not as frothy as I would have like and it splashed everywhere if i use a teacup like in the picture so I use a mug.

all it is made up to be great machine

I wasn't too sure if this would be any good or not, but having had it for nearly month I am really pleased with it. Operation is simple and takes about 5 mins to make a cup and to clean the machine as well. I read some reports about issues with venting steam but had no problems myself, simply turn the machine off, turn the dial and the steam vents in a few seconds.The only issues I can see with it are minor. Firstly, the temperature of the coffee could be a little higher which is sorted by 20 seconds in the microwave. Secondly, it would have been nice to have a gauge to see how much water is left in the container for steam.Recommended.

It does what it says I love it and so do my friends costs me a fortune in milk now . The one thing I did find we a slightly metallic taste even though I had followed instructions so put some sterilizer in with the water and cleaned it again hey presto no more metallic taste

Does the job but be wary this is high pressure steam

Absolutely fantastic idea for a gift if you know a coffee lover. I bought this for my dad as it appealed to me that you don't have to buy any expensive refills or fancy coffee packets in order to have a cappuccino and it was a great idea! It only makes one at a time but it quick enough that this isn't an issue. Also looks good and overall I would say it was great for the money.

Good but not quite creamy cappuccino made by this luxury looking machine.

This is a fabulous little machine for the money we paid.It delivers realistic capachinos/Lattes in a few minutes.Easy to clean and easy to follow instructions.Uses regular coffee.Only drawback... Uses mostly milk but is suppose that adds to the taste of the coffee.

I bought one of these on impulse in May - mainly because you didn't have to buy pods to go with it at around 80p each! As regards value for money I was lucky to get it VERY cheaply and from day one I have made cappuccino's which, to my taste, are equal to or better than I can buy in the High Street. I have been using a combination of skimmed milk and Kenco Millicano and I have had no complaints so far! Yes it is important to be careful with the pressure cap but there is no reason to open it until the machine is cold just to top up. Also important is the cleaning operation after each use which is very easy and not time consuming. The drip tray is easily removable for cleaning too. So there you have it - a very nice cappuccino on a budget and far better than those who buy the pod types and then rarely use them due to the cost of pods.

Excellent purchase, superb delivery, makes really good latte, have yet to try the other variations but feel sure they will have a positive response.

5 stars because I think it is great and because I (that is me) can make authentic great tasting very frothy cappuccinos.However. My mum cant, your mum wont be able to and a lot of women wont have the strength to tighten the water reservoir cap sufficiently to stop steam escaping.I have had to make an 800mm long wooden spanner for 'me mam' but that is no good either as you then need someone to hold it still whilst the other tightens with "the plank"I was about to write I was shocked at such a design flaw but I am getting used to one failed design after another.
