Absolutely amazing!! As a coffee addict this has completed my life! So easy to use! Best feature has to be that i can be set up to turn itself on and up heat at whatever time you need each morning so you dont have to wait for it to get ready. It does it automatically! Worth every Penny! I highly recommend it to all my friends. Although they prefer to just come round to Mine! I used to stop for coffee every morning on my way to work but this saves me so much time and in the future it will save me money too! Love Love Love this machine!!
Sarah-Jane GouldingReally easy to use. Coffee shop quality coffee in your home!
EamonA little on the expensive side but great easy to use machine. The taste of the coffee is down to the customer really and how fresh the coffee is when being used. I imagine that stale coffee beans will give you a stale coffee taste - you can’t blame the machine for that!!
CMaccaI bought this to replace my old office coffee machine; we buy good beans but the coffee produced by the old machine was detiorating and the all the moving (but fairly low-quality) parts made it prone to failure and a pain to clean. After having it repaired twice, I decided to go for something high-end with less failure-prone moving parts, which I hoped would be more reliable and produce better results.Everywhere but on Amazon, this Sage Touch Oracle machine received fantastic reviews but the small number (eight at the time of writing) of reviews on here were really quite poor other than one 5-star review. This worried me, but after further research, I decided to go ahead anyway and I have not been disappointed. In short, this machine produces outstanding coffee; all the coffee drinkers in the office love it and I would say it is clearly superior (with good beans obviously) to Starbucks, Costa, et al. The milk frother is superb and allows you to produce near barista-quality results (texture and taste).Clearly, at approaching £2k inc. VAT this is not a low-cost machine and only really suitable for high-income individuals who love good coffee and drink lots of it, but don't want the fuss. However, for an office it is absolutely superb as it is easy to use, produces great results and is very well made.

I bought this machine, as Amazon advertised that there was "upto £300 cash back" on these machines. The day the machine arrived I applied for the cashback only to find that the cashback at Sage applicances expired almost 2 weeks before. Sage were totaly un sympathetic to the situation. BEWARNED!! I know I need to send this to the Advertising Standard Authority.
michael b.I wanted so much to like this machine but after noticing the Luke warm espresso (yes I warmed all the parts first ) I decided to measure the water temp and found it to be 55c or 130f . This is way too low to brew coffees / I returned the first one and then the second one was the same. I got the sage engineer out to look at it and he changed the heating unit and it was still only reaching 55. So sent it back and have gone for an oracle. To conclude -Grinds and steams really well but all the espressos were cool and bitter.
C. GallagherI bought my machine from somewhere else, as it wasn’t in stock on Amazon yet. I’ve had it for 6 months now, and due to the stupidly high cost I naturally researched the life out of it. I was frustrated at the lack of reviews so always promised myself I’d write one. Given the experiences of others I thought it a good idea to do that.I had a Gaggia Classic with MDF grinder that worked well, but was too messy and became a chore to use. Coffee isn’t a hobby for me, it’s a drink, and I want it to be easy and taste great. For a while I moved to Nespresso for ease of use and had the Lattissima Pro. Good machine, but Nespresso is too weak. Bonus came in from work, and this was the result! There are reviews around the web that say you cannot get the grind fine enough and even instructions on how to adjust the internal burrs to grind finer. If that’s the case for you, your machine is faulty. At this price point send it back and get a replacement.I’ve used supermarket beans, and posh beans that have been roasted locally. Supermarket beans produce a flat coffee, fresh ones are the best. I used the Padstow Coffee Co and Rave and found them both to be great. That said, I sometimes have to adjust the grind slightly as beans that are kept in an airtight container age less than beans in the hopper. Sometimes I have to drop from setting 11 to 12 when refilling, but it’s never far off. I also drink far too much coffee, so they don’t hang around long. We are talking 2 kg of beans a month here!Despite what some will say I’ve had excellent results with beans that were roasted the day before, all the way through to 3 months. The supermarket beans are dateless and rubbish which leads me to believe they’re far older. The trick to this thing is the lack of mess whilst making great coffee. I love that I can just fire it up, make an amazing drink then walk away in under 2 minutes without coffee grinds being everywhere! The difference between a latte from this with properly textured milk compared with the Lattissima is incomparable. If you’ve g
Eddafter 3 months of using this maschone i have to say that i am not very happy. The idea is good and i really like the looks of this maschine. But i bought it to make good coffee and thats not possible. At least with my maschine. The extraction is always different because the grinder doenst do a good job. i have tried several beans but the result is the same. the grinding is not fine enough. I also adjusted the setting of the grinder within the maschine tp position 1 what is supposed to be the finest one. Even though the water runs too fast. 2 out of 10 coffees coming out the way it should be and thats not enough for a maschine i paid serious money for. For 500 more i get a professional maschine with a very good grinder and i can have consistant results. But since i didnt want to use 2 m2 of space in the kitchen just for making coffee i decided to give this maschine a chance. Unfortunately it didnt work out. Another thing is the electronic. I already gave up to save my own drinks. After every stand by the drinks i created dont show up anymore. Something is wrong with the electronic. I dont now if i received a monday unit or if these issue are common. I would like to give it another try. Lets see how the costumer service is going to help.1.update: compliments to Amazon. Excellent service. After realizing that there is no costumer support for clients in Portugal Amazon immediately sent a new maschine and after receiving i will send back the disapointing one. I recieved the new one today and i am full of hope that this unit will do a better job. In case the same problems will appear i will definately return for good and spend my money somewhere else. I just read that SAGE manufactored maschines dont have the same quality as BREVILLE has in the US. Breville is the original manufactor and in the UK its sold under SAGE and in Germany under GASTROBACK. In the US this maschine (BREVILLE) has very good recessions thats why i tried. An excellent machine & great introduction to a proper espresso coffee machine after capsules. I had a Krupps Nespresso machine, but always had trouble with crushed Nespresso capsules due to their poor packaging. This machine is relatively easy to use & simple to keep clean. It makes great coffee & make you feel like a barista! Buyig your own beans open up a new world of coffee & we found a local guy who imports & roasts beans on the day you buy. Beans from a supermarket taste awful in comparison. So assuming that you have a great source of beans & are prepared to spend an hour figuring out how to use the machine, this is a great choice & worth the very high price. True baristas may find that they don't like some of the automation, but there are other machines in the range for them.An update after 2 months' use. There are some issues with attaching the portafilter. It doesn't click in. Turn it too tight & you get coffee stuck inside the group head, too loose & a disaster with the portafilter flying off & getting coffee EVERYWHERE. I've had it fly off 3 times - you really don't want that to happen.Next issue is the consumables & cleaning. The water filter & cleaning tablets are only available from the Sage website, except they almost never have stocks. The machine pops up messages every time to make a coffee to clean this or that, but no way to clean without the parts. Poor service from Sage.Last of all, making 2 coffees. There is a tiny touch area to switch to 2 cups, I'm used to touch screens, but I find it very hard to touch this option & the machine does not remember the setting.I am not happy with this machine considering the price & have reduced the stars from 5 to 2. It makes good coffee, but this really is to do with how fresh your beans are. Assuming you have a good source of freshly roasted beans, any machine can make good coffee, support from the company is poor. If I had to replace this machine, I would get the regular Oracle, not the Touch.

Disappointed in this machine, unlike the previous Sage Oracle you CANNOT adjust the coffee to pour by volume but only by time. This is a major flaw as most baristas will pour with volume not in seconds. I am selling mine because of this and keeping my original Oracle machine which can do this no bother. Maybe Sage will upgrade the software once they sense they have messed up big time here. I confirmed this with Sage Appliances customer service before writing this review, they also seamed surprised to learn this as they were not aware of the issue. Hopefully Sage will reply with a solution to this post.
MR COLIN STEWARTThis oracle touch is worthy of flagship status. I have previously had a Jura Z6 and a Siemens S6, both of which were good machines but this Oracle blows them both out of the water for almost like for like money. Why? I'm going to mention the things that are important to me. 1) Build Quality, as soon as you unpack this machine, you are taken back by it's solid construction, no cheap plastic here and it weighs accordingly. Everything from the coated stainless steel facia to the milk wand, from the touch screen to the hopper, it's all very well put together. 2) Drink, if you have ever thought your coffee machine does not product a latte or espresso hot enough, this machine will put that right. The temperature of the milk and the brew can be separately tuned with its dual boiler design. The shots are consistently excellent with no drop in flavour if you make one beverage after the other 3) Design, it's not fully automatic, however it's 90% there and what I would say is, that is no bad thing. It just allows you to find tune the drinks just how you want them. The milk wand for example produces better milk, better froth and at a higher temperature should you choose than both of my previous machines. 4) Ease of use, there are no constant cleaning cycles needed after every drink session. The milk wand auto purges with stream and it does not require chemicals to maintain itself. The Jura for example has running costs you really need to budget in, we were spending around £20 a month on cleaning liquid with that and the Siemens. With this, nadda. It does come with a cleaning tablet however the difference is you use it once in a blue moon as opposed to monthly. Bad bits... I genuinely cannot think of any, at all. So impressed with the purchase, I hope this has helped you make an informed decision. I normally do not write reviews but this product is compelling, the drinks are at the very least on par with the big names in coffee.
RishAbsolutely brilliant machine. The quality of the coffee is excellent and it is so easy to use.You cannot compare it to the fully automatic machines who constantly clean themselves. It even grinds and tampers the coffee for you and automatically cleans the steam spout. It is solidly made to the highest spec.It might cost a lot, but believe me, it is well worth it!At the end of the day, it is the quality of the drinks that matter.Well done Sage!
Mel.Automated, touch screen operation simplifies how to make your favourite Cafe coffee in three easy steps - grind, brew and milk. You can easily adjust the coffee strength, milk texture or temperature to suit your taste. Then save it with your own unique name. Create and save up to 8 personalized coffees. We put the Barista inside the machine so you don't have to be one!
