Not as good as expected
Reviewed on Argos.co.uk

I bought this back in July, and waited until now to review to give it a fair enough chance. If you have more than two mugs of tea to make at a time I wouldn’t recommend this kettle. The filter system didn’t work properly for us with the tea still not being as clear as it could be. Positives are that it boils quickly and the light that comes on is pretty. It’s worth bearing in mind that you need to constantly purchase the Brita filters (about £20 for six which will last six months ish).

The water chamber is very small
Reviewed on Argos.co.uk

The chamber is smaller than my previous black Russell Hobbs which is a bit disappointing.

Small filter reservoir
Reviewed on Argos.co.uk

It’s good if there are only two people in the house but no good for large families as you have to keep refilling the top reservoir to provide enough water for the kettle.

Kettle looks great. It only holds two cups though
Reviewed on Argos.co.uk

The kettle looks great but it's not very big. Very modern looking but with the filter taking up almost half the capacity the kettle only holds enough water to boil two mugs of water. The boiling speed is quite quick but given the small amount of water it holds its not surpriseng

Takes a while for water to go through. But you can certainly taste the difference

Looks nice but not great to use.
Reviewed on Argos.co.uk

This kettle looks good, the clear walls and blue light when boiling creates a nice effect. The kettle contains a water filter which is great and made a difference to the taste of the tea, for the first week. The filters are supposed to last for four weeks but today the tea tastes as it did from my previous kettle, after two weeks use. Not only does it takes ages to fill, adding small amounts each time to allow the water to filter through but the filters would need replacing sooner than suggested

After buying the kettle we realised it was a filter one which we did not want so returned it.

Plastic is not a good idea!
Reviewed on Ebay

Some plastics contain BPA., and can be harmful when heated. I have no idea what type is used for this kettle or its filters. I thought that the taste of tea made using water from this had no flavour other than a 'plasticy' taste.

The older model is better
Reviewed on Argos.co.uk

Bought this kettle to replace the old Morphy Richards Brita kettle. Turns out the old model is far better. This one has a smaller capacity (can barely get 2 large mugs on max fill), the kettle itself is cheaply made of flimsy plastic and even s/steel detail doesn't save it.
