This was the second of three such kettles I purchased in 2019 the others were gifts, for family and friends.I purchased this one in September 2019 bur only used first time at Christmas 2019, I live in London's HARD WATER AREA, as most of my beverages come deem a Bean to Cup Auto this kettle is only used once a day maximum. Ten weeks of use was sufficient for the inside to become heavily scaled as I descaled as with every kettle I've ever owned a few times a year when noticeable - I use the liquid sachets of OUST descaler and have used this for many years now. After using and twice boiling with fresh water following the descaling, I rinsed and put back ready for use. The following morning my cleaner arrived and started ny making both of us a coffee. Coming back to the Kitchen to collect my coffee I spotted a puddle od water around the Kettle and thought my Cleaner had overfilled the kettle before boiling yje kettle so asked her to be careful to avoid accidents - but she replied Kettle was leaking when she arrived, she said she had twice wiped away but was coming from the kettle, after examination I looked and cannot see where is leaking from but suspect its the water level view window on the rear of the kettle.Generally I have been unpressed with Bosch appliances large and small, in addition to this style of kettle of which I purchased a total of three of this model, prior ro that had purchased five of the TWK8510 model Kettle of these 8 items. this is the first tu fail in such a manner. Do to a recent disability I am prevented from getting out to effect a return to seeker or manufacturer - thats assuming they were prepared to replace repair or refund me in the first place.

This kettle is really efficient. It boils the water very quickly. You can set the kettle to cut off at 70,80,90 or 100 degrees. You can also keep the water at each of these temperatures for 30 minutes.You have to make sure the lid clicks properly when closing it otherwise it can open up whilst boiling.

Looks impressive and the variable temperature feature turns out to be very useful. It boils very quickly and is relatively quiet. On the other hand, as others have mentioned, opening the lid is a bit of an art (a light tap) and doesn't always work, and now, after only 6 months, it doesn't always switch off when the water is boiling.

I’m very happy with it, great design. Safe materials and very nice design. Only minus is the beep sound on turning on and off.

Scale doesn’t create much. You can keep hot the temperature that you desire until you lift the kettle.really like it. And really like the unsual colour ☺️

So matched my kitchen units I just had to have it- my units are a very difficult colour blue to match up. Kettle itself excellent - easy to fill but advise not to fill to the maximum level as when pouring it out it tends to "explode" from the spout. Great feature is the range of temperature- for tea/ coffee (70 to 100) and a keep warm button too. Love it- now saving up for the toaster!

Good quality, fair price, not the quickest to boil but looks great and not too loud

Have had two of this particular model kettle in black before, the last one being a couple of years ago. Needed a new kettle so decided to go back to this model again. While it is good, it is nowhere near as fast at boiling, as the previous models I have had in the past. Would not necessarily buy this model again in future.

Really pleased. I'm very sensitive to the 'new plastic taste' from new kettles and this one tasted great in only a few boils. Does everything a kettle should so would recommend.

I had this kettle in red before however, the picture shows this in a nice matallic red which would have matched my Russell Hobbs matallic red mug tree and knife holder however, the kettle turned out to be the cheap plain plastic red colour and not matallic at all. I basically brought the same kettle!! Misleading picture. Needs changing.

Boils quickly and quietly compared to previous kettle. Like the blue light that comes on during the boiling process

the kettle looks good and it saves money by having an accurate cup reading on the side so i save on electricity by only boiling the amount needed

The lid doesn't always open first time but this is a minor problem! Overall very pleased.

Quick boil flip up lid for easy filling great colour would recomend it.

I really like this kettle, it boils quickly, looks good and a great price. The only downside is the section that lights up is made of plastic. For me this brings down the overall look of the kettle but still a good buy.

This is a fantastic kettle - very easy to use and a great design absolutely over the moon with it.

Third Bosch kettle over many years 2nd one lid started to stick when opening after many years, so bought recent one. Lid was also sticking straight away, shame but now changed to other brand

Great looking kettle, boils in good time, noise is limited and comfortable to pour.

Love the lightness of the kettle, it boils really fast, like the blue light on it.
