Well, ours is one of those with a spring that doesn't because it was laying in the water reservoir and it caused a major leak. Take 2, removed spring and thought send it back. However I can't see the point of the spring, having removed it cleaned up 0.5Ltrs of water we tried again. No leak. Yes it has a red power cable but so does the Krups version. Yes it vibrates and it is really noisey so if that's import and look elsewhere. If you can overcome these shortfalls it makes a hot coffee which the Krups didn't. We'll have to see what happens without the spring but I think the spring could be left off.
CalypsoBought to replace a different model which had just stopped working completely. This model is better as it has automatic shut-off. However, every three-to-four uses it decides to pour coffee down the sides, back and underneath rather than into the cup. I can't see why but it is really annoying. There is no mention of this in the help/support. The capsule holder is in the right place each time...makes no sense.
RSTerrible product. Returned & received a full refund, so as usual cannot fault Amazon's return policy.
It arrived faulty (leaked water from the reservoir), and had a broken part (the metal spring mounted midway up behind the water reservoir). Also, I can't see anywhere that says or shows the power cord is BRIGHT ORANGE. A ridiculous colour on a home appliance that will in all likelihood be mounted on the kitchen work surface.
I owned exactly the same design of machine previously so thought I would replace like for like. It seems the quality of the product has gone through the floor so will now be seeking an alternative.
I'd had a Dolce Gusto Melody for about 5 years, but it stopped working properly and I thought it was time to replace it with a new one. I bought this one because it looked like a space saving one, although I realise it was a cheaper model. However, I do regret the purchase, and wish I'd gone for a better version. On the positive side, it did make the drinks hotter than the Melody. That was always a problem from the start and I have been microwaving the milk for 30 seconds before using it to counter-act that. With this new model it stays warm for a good amount of time.-- The little pod holder is magnetic so it pulls in at the last moment, which was good.-- The auto switch-off is handyOn the bad side, I realise it's called Mini-me, but the photo's show it with the tall glass mugs. However, the drip tray is very tall and the tall glass mugs do not fit properly in the machine. It has to hang slightly over the edge and leans a little bit uncomfortably. It's never fallen, but with a few minor design tweaks it would have fit with no problem. It was never a problem with the Melody. If you have OCD and like the tall glasses - I'd avoid this model for this alone!-- The auto-switch off, on max setting doesn't quite put as much water in as I usually would. My choice was to turn it on again or get used to these new portions. I also found that I was accidentally adjusting the settings whilst opening/closing the lid for the pod. Leading to it offering up smaller portions before I corrected it again. I think it's a bit of a design flaw in the way it is made.-- The materials do seem a bit cheaper than the Melody and, like everyone else, I can't help but wonder why they made the plug and cable red!?-- The water holder doesn't hold that much (That's ok as it's in the spec), but more importantly, it doesn't come off as easily as the Melody and you basically have to position the Mini Me with access to this in mind.-- A spring from somewhere also fell off, but I haven't noticed anything detrimental.Overall, I think with a bit more thoug

Not impressed. Very quick delivery but un-useable. It arrived with a two prong (continental) plug and no adaptor; no mention of any need for adaptor in the description. Why sell things with non UK plugs in the UK?? I suppose it explains the low price.....
Tim RogersI have had several of these coffee machines over the past few years and have always been happy with them this one works well but the water tank is very awkward to remove a slight redesign is needed
collypopsI bought it three weeks ago then I returned it back to the store, the water dropped from the rear in the point that feed the base , finally found the water all around the base before doing the coffe itself . I don’t recommend this item
