the 5* are for Amazon the product 3/4* maybe.our original order we were a little disappointed with the quality of this kettle it quickly failed (couple of months) the on off switch did not operate correctly. Contacted Amazon and a replacement was received the following day a returns label the same day.Replacement kettle seems better quality?? if this one lasts only a few months then it seems very simple to get a replacment. Might never need to pay for a new kettle ever again LOL

I really like this kettle. I took ages choosing one and was worried about the negative comments about this kettle but so far (several weeks later) have had no trouble at all. It is a lovely design, light and pours easily. It is also easy to fill and has a decent metal limescale filter. Looks as good as the day I opened it. The lid fits tightly but is also easy to remove and is easy to fill either through the top or the spout with an easy to see water gauge. Love the way it pours and it is comfortable to use. The only downside for me is that it is slightly noisy but the good bits far outweigh that. Glad I bought it.

I like the look of this kettle, and it works well and boils quickly. As others have said it is quite hard to remove the lid, which means I often fill through the spout as with arthritis pulling is painful. Disappointed that the little silver SWAN logo is already falling off after ony one week of use. It is flimsy plastic, and would have been better not attached at all if it is to fall off so soon. It will leave a yellow mark, which will change the delightful aesthetic appearance of this article. On the whole, though, very pleased with this item.

Boils quick, quiet, environmentally friendly because of the shape. Looks good. Didn't realise its mainly plastic...body gets proper hotLid is quite a bit stiff...Not suggested if you've limited dexterity

Looks good, boils quickly also light weight easy to use.. Sometimes hard to get kid off to refill kettle.

I bought this product primarily for how it would look in my new kitchen and looks do not disappoint. The only reason I have right now not to give it 5 stars is I feel the build quality of the lid (that you remove to put water in) could be better, it feels a bit like they cut a few corners in that regard, but overall I'm happy with the product.

not had this long but love it. only fault which i havent had time or can return it ! was it turns off when turned on not everytime but 1 out of 4 times. shame . husband ill. no other kettle so didnt return it as i need kettle badly !sorry

Love this kettle. Pours nicely, is quite and boils quickly. I was nearly put off ordering it from the negative reviews some people gave it but I’ve not found anything negative to say about it. One comment was that steam comes from the on/off switch and this will happen if the kettle is over filled - so don’t over fill it and it’s fine.

The kettle is smart the only negative is the lid it is very tight and difficult to get off and on , and filling through the spout very difficult. My husband would of liked it a little bigger, I like the size and light weight.

After changing our kitchen to Retro/American Diner sort of we choose these as we know people who have them.fit in well work well.Kettle a little noisy compared to oyr old one but minor.lights up blue when boiling .like this alot.also purchased the toaster,microwave , t , coffe, sugar pots and automatic bin...
