Extremely poor quality item, as you can see limescale developed around the external rim of the kettle even though the inside was regularly descaled. Leaked in month 17 of 24 month guarantee, response from company was poor, basically saying any fault after 6 months would need assessment by expert. Wished I had seen the other reviews before purchasing. I wouldn't recommend.

This is my second swan kettle and both broke wouldn’t recommend swans product

The kettle started leaking within 6 months, every time i pour a cuppa I end up with the worktop wet from a leak at the base of the spout.

Lovely design. Easy to use.However now sent back for refund after a few weeks due to water leakage from the base seem!

I bought this less than a year ago and although it looks nice and works well, the nozzle has now gone rusty because stainless steel wasn't used in it so I now have to throw it out and buy a knew one for that one sill reason which environmentally is completely unacceptable and I would like a refund.

This has lasted just over a year and has now gone bang. Why can't manufacturer's make products last for more than a year? Wont be buying another one from Swan!

Disappointed as it blew up after 3 months. Tried to contact customers help but not available over the weekend. Glad i kept my other kettle. Purchased this one to have change of colour in kitchen appliances.

Very very disappointed with this kettle used for only 5 months and the automatic cut off is not working not what I expected from swan !! Won’t buy swan bran again !

The cream plastic looks like it is very old and cheap. The label started pealing after a few uses. expected much better quality for this money. I have £5 tesco kettle and looks better quality than this one

Bought this kettle 13 months ago. Sadly something has gone wrong and is constantly blowing the fuse. Not really the longevity I would have expected. Also it looked very battered after such a short life as the blue paint chipped away very easily. Also the "Swan" logo was half peeled off giving a rather dog eared impression. Loved the look of the kettle, but if you are looking for a quality kitchen appliance I would not recommend.

Loved the colour it matches all my other swan kitchen items, great looking vintage style kettle, however the original kettle had to be returned as it blew up, sparks flying everywhere and cut off the electrics, just a one off I thought, I was sent another as replacement and exactly the same thing happened ! Such a shame as swan have some lovely items in this range. On a positive note I’m pleased with Amazon after care service .

I bought this kettle to replace a exact same one which looked shabby after two years .however 4 months down the road .the paint is peeling off on one side ..the red light cover has come off . and the lid has gone tight .and its swapped places with the old one .and now sits in the garage

Lovely looking kettle but chiped and rusted really quickly around the lid. So will be going back to a older style kettle that colour doesnt chip off.

The kettle works fine. Love the colour; however on unpacking there was a small dent in the lid. I decided I would not go through the process of return ; however in the future I will source items like this that I can see and inspect on purchase. The box was not damaged and the packaging appeared sufficient so my conclusion has to be that whoever packed it was aware of the defect.

Boils quickly and looks good, but it is rather noisy. The lid fits so tightly that you have to really yank it off and the water level gauge is very difficult to see- would have been better on the side. Would not buy this again.

Disappointing for a Swan item. Paint scratched in places but more annoying was the on/off switch that only worked when it felt like it. Decided to return it after having to place something heavy on the switch to keep it on. Shame because it's actually a nice looking product.

Lid sticks on really tight and it's got a really flimsy top to lift it with. When you pick the kettle up the base unit and flex are usually also picked up too. They then fall midway through you pouring your tea. It's a potentially dangerous design.2 months on the kettle has now started leaking. Avoid!!!!
