Boils water quickly. It’s noisy

The worst and most annoying thing which could be a feature of any kettle is for it not to sit flat on the worktop. This thing has a horrible wobble to it when you place it on its cradle.
WHY?!? That is just so annoying. Feels cheap, unsafe and most unsatisfying to use.

DavidI bought this kettle on 9th April 2017 and it is now 2nd August, 4 months later. The kettle lid does not stay down so when the kettle boils the steam pushes the lid up. It means that I have to wait each time for the kettle to boil and risk being scolded by steam. Not a very good product and I would definitely not buy it again.

KenKettle has stickers on it that take about 30 mins to remove all the glue and even then you can still see where the stickers have been. Kettle seems well made with a large capacity.

Hari PunLight weight kettle..boils fast... but lid Broke after 8 months, which led to a sharp metal spring in the bottom of kettle..that managed to get in to my tea, was not impressed, will not buy again..Amazon and Russel Hobbs, didn't care less..just offered a refund, could have been very nasty!!! NOT HAPPY.
C.burgessI purchased this kettle to replace one I had had for over 10 years. After only 16 months the lid will not stay down which means if used the kettle does not turn off. I am very disappointed in the product which I chose as I thought Russell Hobbs supplied good products. I would not recommend buying it.

JimBroke after exactly 2 months. The filter fell of and the cap doesn't close anymore and sometimes you have to keep the switch down for it to actually boil. Terrible!

CogglesHave only had this a few days so it hasn't rusted yet, however I'm very unhappy with the fact that it needs to rest for a few minutes between boils. I suppose this is a safety feature but my old kettle didn't have it, so I find it very irritating. I would not have bought it if I had known.
