This is the second kenwood kettle I've bought. Replaced as the first one developed a leak after 21/2 years. It lasted longer than any of the more expensive ones I've purchased in the past. Have found over the years kenwood seem to be the brand with longevity in the kitchen. Ergonomic design too.

CarlA seemingly well built kettle from a well known brand, but just outside the guarantee period the jug has started to leak between the element and the outer casing. Sadly not repairable. Didn't purchase via Amazon
Phil OveyI was really looking forward to using this kettle, as I liked the look, the comfy handle etc. I used it for a few days, but had to send it back in the end as the switch turned itself off constantly. Did not replace it with the same though.
