AmalIt boils water, which you'd expect it to, however after a few uses the lid started to dislodge itself during boiling. What results is scalded hands as the lid will decide to go for a walk when you start pouring the boiling water out. As other owners have commented it starts to rust pretty quickly also after a couple of months.

Amazon CustomerEfficient kettle, not an exact colour match for the toaster which is a darker shade. Water level gauge is hand if a little inaccurate at the lower levels and the kettle is not easy to engage with its stand. All told the wife likes it because it's pink. We would not have chosen it otherwise.

It was OK when it worked but I can't recommend this kettle, especially as it seems to have been engineered to fail just outside the one year guarantee period.
