Kettle arrived but I was disappointed as it looked cheap and plastic.

marion cheshireThis was a very basic kettle, as you'd expect for the price. Cheap materials but did the job.Unfortunately after having it for less than a week, the plastic handle on the lid snapped off with little pressure.

Nice kettle, does the job well - boils water fast, fairly quiet while doing so, etc. BUT it's lasted barely just over a year, before it developed a fault with the switch, which now needs to be held down for it to work! At the time I bought it, it came with a two-year warranty, but the small print said that was only if you registered it on purchase, which I did not realise at the time - only found this out when I rang Morphy Richards support today. So, the best they are prepared to do is offer a replacement at a "reduced" price...
