It was the first coffee machine I ever bought. In all the time I have had it which is almost 8 years it has never let me down. In the past 6 months the steamer isn't working properly but I can still make great expressos. I use it several times a day. I am going to buy it again. Great value.

A great coffee maker, dry easy to use & great tasting coffee every time.

Stopped working after a few uses. Wasn’t very user friendly at all.

We bought one of these when my husband retired 7 years ago. It still works, but its leaking and the steamer has given up. We have used it to make coffee at least three times a day, over seven years, that amounts to a lot of usage. I decided to go for the same model. It can't be beaten for it's longevity.

Good coffee machine . I am useing it for the last 4-5 years and still goes well. First I had an isue with it about not getting the coffee through , but realised that the coffe was to grinded.

Good price Makes great espresso but make sure you buy a burr grinder and a heavy tamper to go with it when grinding fresh roasted beans. Constructive criticism would be that I don't like how the dispense function is manual so you have to keep an eye on the amount of water you allow through filter. Would much rather a single shot / double shot function button. Others have had issues with the machine getting too hot after using steamer and therefore lights continue flashing...the manual guides you in how to expel excess water from steam water compartment to fix this and only takes 5 seconds.

it is perfect ...if i really want to write something bad is the cup heater on the top..but as coffe is good

I have had a lot of these machines over the yearsprice performance wise .... this is up there at the topit makes better espresso than my massive franke flairan excellent weight in it also and the brew groupmany many many other cheaper copies of this feel plasticy and nastythis one doesnti saw a few reviews saying it started leaking after a while .,... um, having these machines for decades theydo and you can get spare parts or have them fixed. They have a 15 bar pump, steam and hot water in them, eventuallya cheap o-ring will just perish.** Update after 2 weeks .... still going strong ... as is the coffee ... wonderful little machine ... no buyers remorse here froma house with OCD (Obsessive coffee disorder)

If you turn on the steamer it won't make coffee until you switch it off and back on again. I bought a second to try to fix this fault, but they are all the same. Makes great coffee though.

Don't buy this! It can only make about 1 cup of coffee before it overheats and stops whilst it cools down. The thing lasted until 14 days after its 3 month return window after which its steamer nozzle blows off in the middle of steaming the milk showering the user with hot milk; Very dangerous. On inspection the only thing holding the steamer nozzle on under pressure is a smaller moulded plastic nodule which wears away each time you take it off to clean it until it becomes useless. Will try to get my money back from Amazon; it's outrageous that they seem to think that they can sell this sort of thing with only a 3 month warranty.Nasty dangerous piece of kit.

Very good compact coffee machine,confusing to use at first but once mastered you won't leave the house at the morning without a cappuccino ,latte or espresso,

Agree with the Which report, which finally made my mind up to buy this product. We use it with loose coffee with a 'double shot' so we don't know about the sachets.

After years of using pods, I really felt the need for a change. I found this coffee machine easy to set-up and use. It does take some trial and error to know how much coffee to put in and press. The coffee is smooth and has a nice creama. I also found the machine easy to clean and maintain. Milk can also be frothed, and I purchased a separate thermometer and frothing jug for this. My only complaint is that the nozzle to froth the milk is not long enough. Overall I am very pleased. I am enjoying quite a few varieties of ground beans now in the comfort of my home.

Bought for my wife, and to be honest it's looks far exceed its performance. Only by reading other reviews did we find out why you have to wait up to 20mins to make a second cup! The instructions were abysmal, pictograms that mean nothing unless you already know. So many complaints about it leaking water, but to date ours has not! Provided you read all the reviews and glean all the hints and tips, you can make good use of this machine although why they cannot produce a machine that works as it should, with good instructions is a mystery!

I bought it for my boyfriend as a birthday present. He's a bartender and because I couldn't afford a professional coffee machine, that is the best option. The coffee isn't too hot, and not too cold. It has a perfect temperature which makes it drinkable. The only issue that I've seen so far is with the steamer, sometimes it falls into the milk.. It goes off easily. That's the only bad thing so far. I'll update the post soon. I give this review after 2 months of perchance and an every day use of the machine.
