It does what kettles do, boils water and is very good in this respect. Great colour and the weight is not too heavy.

I liked the idea of a stainless steel jug kettle. Unfortunately this is of a poor design and the spout drips if poured too enthusiastically. Also comes with a continental plug which I had to cut off and fit a UK plug. Not a good buy!
