Ju EssexWe got this a few weeks ago and it is already leaking, the paint round the top is chipping (despite the vinyl/plastic lid !) but worst of all - the kettle doesn't turn off and the handle gets extremely hot.It is difficult to find anything good to say about it...except it looks pretty.Best avoided.

Bought this kettle as I wanted a rapid boil - it lasted 2 weeks and the switch doesn't switch off anymore... not recommended by me
Alison PeowrieAlthough packed in a box, the kettle arrived with a damaged, bend spout! I contacted the company and they collected it and refunded the price of the kettle, but not including P&P, which I do not think I should pay. I pointed it out to them and they apologised saying it will be credited to my A/C immediately. Great, I thought. Went on holiday, came back, then decided to check my account to see if it was refunded, as a matter of principle. It wasn't! I contacted the company again, saying it was quite bad, to promise something and not to deliver. On this occasion the refund was made. Finally! it obviously raises a question of trust.........

Ula ASince using the kettle I found the top of the kettle where you pick it up goes very hot and after a month it is now staying on and not switching off. I did purchase the red kettle but got a silver one.
