Does what it should but has its limitations.
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

Quiet when heating, controls easy to use and accessible. However, darkened window to view water is poor and difficult to see levels. Easier to open the lid and look in to view the level. Meaning if you have half filled it had a cup or two, you would have to lift it off the stand open the lid and then check before boiling again, as boiling it dry is not a good option. Also the lid its hinged to 90 degrees and is not the easiest to fill through the spout.

Well balance and easy to use, temperature feature not that useful unless brewing up all the time.
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

I have been using the kettle now for a couple of months and I like it.The kettle feels good quality, although the buttons feel a little cheap and must be pressed firmly to use them. The lid doesn't open quite high enough to make filling easy, so it's a matter of holding it under a tap with the lid getting in the way. This might be a safety feature, however, and doesn't prevent it from being filled at a tap.The keep at a temperature works well and is especially handy in a busy house or office. You occasionally hear the kettle switching on to keep the water at the selected temperature.Water boils promptly and it is easy to pour with no drips occurring.I think it's a good purchase and the extra features worthwhile for an office or home where a few people constantly brew up. Other than those environments, however, a kettle without the temperature feature would be equally fine.

A good kettle with some convenient features
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

This is a very good kettle. It brings water to the boil quickly and uses 3kw of power to do so. It has a capacity of slightly over 1.5 litres which is quite generous. I particularly like the temperature control which allows uou to determine how hot you want your water to be - 40/60/80/100°C. I always feel that boiling water scorches the coffee in my cafetiere so the 80° setting is ideal for avoiding that while still providing a piping hot coffee. The viewing panel which is supposed to allow you to see your water level is not transparent enough to the point of being pretty useless but it's not a feature I would petsonally use so I don't find it a problem - others might. The cable is a little on the short side but that is only a problem if your sockets are not whete you want your kettle to be.In summary then; a few little drawbacks but definitely a kettle worth considering.

Great kettle
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

I have been using this kettle now for a couple of weeks and am very pleased with it. There are several factors that make it a better than being "just another kettle": it is very quiet when boiling which is great if you watch tv whilst in the kitchen as you can still hear the tv, boils quickly (3Kw), the controls are very obvious and totally intuitive - there is an on switch a simmer switch and a temperature selection switch. The simmer function allows you to keep the kettle at your chosen temperature range for 30 mins which is great when cooking or making several drinks. If you want to drink something but are short of time to wait for it to cool down, then this is the kettle for you, as it can be set to lower than boiling water (settings are 40 60 80 or 100). Ideal for quick drink or for warm water. Best of all is it's design - the colour and shape make for a very pleasant look with a subtle blend of white and grey body and base with a chrome lid and handle complimenting a very good look (given that it is, after all, a standard domestic appliance). The power switch is also on the base unit which means better safety a no accidental splashes when filling it will get onto the power switch, a nice safety feature I've not seen before.

Are there any bad points? The electric cable could be longer, but it is adequate.

Decent styling but not the full premium-kettle experience
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

What’s good:Nice styling (if a bit me-too)Decent ergonomicsQuick to boilWhat’s not so good:Viewing window is too opaqueA bit wobbly during the boil processNot as functionally simple as it could beLid doesn’t open fullyFeels pricey compared to its peersMy favourite kettle recently bit the dust (a Bosch Styline) and having used various other kettles over the year I have come to appreciate its certain design elements and ergonomics. This Beko kettle mimics the Bosch in its silhouette by having a similar overall shape and handle position - giving it a chunky but relatively stylish and functional appearance. It is there that the similarities end, as the Beko approach is different to Bosch in a few areas.Firstly, the water viewing window is simply too opaque to really tell what the water level is. This feels like a bit of an oversight. The lid release is via a thumb-operated button. It seems to work ok with no obvious sticking but I have come to distrust some release mechanisms that are less direct, so time will tell if it endures. The lid itself doesn’t open as far back as the Bosch, so filling it with water from the tap through the main opening might be a little more awkward, but that just depends on how accessible your tap is.Operationally this kettle lets you set the temperature over 4 presets between 40-100 degrees C, which is not uncommon of a kettle in this range, and similar to the Bosch (although the 40 degree option is a new one on me!). It allows you to have it stop at temperatures that might be better used for different types of hot beverage. Functionally it is not quite as clear as the Bosch, but overall it is fairly similar. I’m not keen on how it seems to wobble a bit while it’s boiling. I’ve had budget range kettles do that, but it’s not what I’d expect of one at this price point.Overall it is a decent kettle with a couple of shortcomings in design. Considering the price is right on where you can get the Bosch for (depending on colour), I’d be opting for the Bosch every time as I have greater buying histor

I like a kettle which varies the temperature so you can make coffee as well as tea, and other hot drinks such as instant hot choc etc. Sometimes it's not desirable to have full on boiling water so this kettle simplifies that a great deal. It's good quality and looks nice on the countertop. It can also keep the water hot for a period of time after boiling which is also handy for a second cuppa - thoroughly recommend this kettle, very happy with it!

Extra functions fail to impress
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

The gauge at the back of the kettle is supposed to show you how much water you are using - a choice of levels -this doesn't work at all - you cannot see the water level inside, even when you are filling it. All is dark grey. I even tried a torch to look. So a function that doesn't function. Usually there is a little white or red ball to show the level if it cannot be illuminated. The little button switches are fiddly and don't work intuitively. The temperature button you press only goes to the end, boil 100 degrees. I can't make mine choose a warm 40 degree, or more along the scale, function, although of course there is no point in that anyway, unless you like lukewarm drinks. On a rolling boil, it shakes about even half full. I couldn't make the keep warm button work but I wouldn't want to to use that anyway for health reasons, warm water can become less safe, and become tainted if kept at a temperature for a long time. The one hand opening may be considered a plus, although it doesn't stay open, which makes for a change of plan mid fill, and normally we fill kettles through the spouts, don't we now? Sorry this kettle only has it's looks to recommend it, a clean white line maybe, the silver and grey are good looking touches, but handsome is as handsome does, I am afraid.
