The kettle was delivered on time and was in perfect condition. Unfortunately it was not fitted with a standard UK plug [this was not stated in the product description] so I returned it. The continental 2-pin plug is housed in a plastic shell which converts it to 3-pin, but it is quite large and looks 'wrong'. It is no doubt electrically safe but nonetheless is an unacceptable 'work around'. It is essential that the correct plug is fitted for the national market concerned; it is surprising that the retailer [based in Poland] seems unaware of this fact.The refund was made without difficulty.

Where to start. The kettle is a nice compact kettle and seemed quite robust. Whether it works or not I can’t tell as it has a two pin plug and not the usual British type. So disappointed.Contacted customer services who advised me to contact Bosch. They said they couldn’t help but didn’t really give a reason.Contacted customer services as they asked me to if no joy with Bosch.Well that was a waste of time because after all the calls and emails I’ve to send it back.So frustrating and annoying. Why do Amazon not have some control over what is being sold. I think when you purchase any electrical item online it should be fit for purpose with a UK plug. I stupidly did not read the reviews. A two pin plug is useless to us and it is a hassle to fix. We first tried to return this because our old kettle (same type exactly) started to work again. We held on to this one over Christmas in case our old one did finally give up yeh ghost. It did. I felt so smug having kept the back up one, but when we opened it it was a two pin plug and we could not use it. So one broken Bosch and one two pin plug Bosch and no kettle at Christmas!!! I will now return this one as faulty as the only option I can choose. But I will order the other red Bosch from another seller because despite this I do like these kettles and our broken one must have lasted a good 5-6 years which seems ok to me. Next time the description should be clear about the plug. I shouldn’t need to read reviews to get this information.

Attractive and good design but water boiling time, even for a cup extremely slow.

Lovely looking kettle but we were surprised when it arrived with a 2 pin plug. Probably our mistake and it has been changed ok. Maybe not easy for some people.

Not UK plug , it is two pin Eu plug , need to buy adapter .
