The coffee maker came with a 2-round pin plug fitted so no earth connection and as far as I can tell no fuse in plug either. I'm not convinced its legal for Amazon to be selling these in the UK . Not possible to plug into UK sockets. I had to cut the plug off and replace it with a fused UK plug - fortunately the cable itself was 3-core and was colour coded to UK (EU) standards so at least I ended up with an earthed appliance - just as well as its made of metal !Should not have had to to that though and the product details certainly dont tell you it is useless as delivered in the UK.
