Spot on product. Does exactly what I wanted. Had it now for over two years and use it in my office, all day, daily. No problems. Excellent product.
Justin HillGreat Kettle and great idea but my lid started playing up after a few months which in turn did not maintain the desired temperature during and after boiling.
Customer service took 4 weeks to get back to me and sounded like they were doing me a favour in trying to get me a replacement lid which was not available. Absolutely mind boggling how a company can go through such efforts to design a product and then back it up with such nonsensical customer service.

manoj shahThe other reviews do sum up the faults with this kettle but you know what, I really like it. The keep warm function is excellent, dropping about 10 degrees an hour. The base seems excessively large but otherwise it’s a looker. I don’t mind that there’s no fill guide from the outside, though the handle looks like an aborted attempt at integrating one. I also don’t mind the lack of flow when pouring as I can take the lid off, though it could definitely be better. The biggest issue for me is the lack of scale filter. After finally giving up on my posh Bosch because it leaked it’s a shame to go back to murky cups of black tea. Other than those gripes it’s very impressive and has put at bay the want for an iKettle - for now.
MindhavensBut not only that - being able to set the exact temperature to which the water is heated is really useful! From making hot water bottles that don't burn or require mixing with cold water, to getting exactly right temperature water for delicate tea etc. The only minus of this one is that the spout can be a little temperamental and has a rather low flow - granted this is likely due to the insulation/thermos style design. Small inconvenience in the grand scheme of things.
LinaSo I have had this product from October 2016 and I have only ever descaled it once in the 2 years that i have had it.
For me the best feature is the fact that it keeps the water warm, that was the primary reason why I bought it. I also love the ability to set the temperature of the water from 40c up to 100c, this is great when drinking herbal teas or tea that should be used for 80c water.
My only gripe with the product is that steam comes out of it when boiling and pouring, I have seen kettles in Japan that do the same thing but have no steam coming from it at all. I have had steam come from the handle part of the lid and burn me, perhaps a rethink on design is required.
When all is said and done, I do recommend this produce, I think its great and if you want to be able to keep water warm for a period of time and control boil temperature then this is the ideal product.

TerraPrimeI love the idea of this kettle and it certainly keeps the water hot... but... the flow rate is so very slow that it takes ages to fill your mug with hot water, the steam flows back up over your hand as you have to tilt it so far so i've burnt myself a number of times. You have to let it finish boiling then wait a few seconds before you use it as there is steam coming out of the vent by the handle (which burns you). And then a few months after the 2 year guarantee expired - it stopped working. I feel i spent a LOT of money for something i thought would be premium quality and turned out to be cheap and shoddy. And their customer service, when i contacted them, was non existent. Sorry - but i cannot recommend this kettle.
TerarkThis product is dangerous. The flow rate when pouring is so slow that to pour a full kettle means having to stop twice as the steam rises to your hand and would burn it. Also, there's no filling gauge on the outside so, when filling the kettle, you need to keep pulling it from the tap, look inside and try to see the scratch on the stainless steel side which shows you're about to go over the level. It looks stylish and keeps the water at temperature but that's all.
PossetPieHi first is is it seems very good quality, I had a dialog on my boat which was way to powerful for my system so I was looking for a quality (boat is artdeco) looking kettle that was eco friendly. When I test boiled a full kettle at 19:00 it was still 80 degrees at 22:00 ( I went to bed). Very impressed
AdrianBGood at keeping temperature, but I wish it had a water gauge
G HargraveI really like the idea of a kettle that you don't have to boil from cold every time. Because it stays hot for longer I'm not standing over waiting.I like it.
JABNeeds a water fill level
Amazon CustomerWas really excited about getting this as I often boil water and get distracted and have to boil again.
It was easy to setup and I loved the features.
My first gripe was that flow of water when pouring was very slow and getting the last amount out was difficult (easier to take the lid off).
Second very heavy (but will strengthen your arm muscles).
If you take the lid off beware as if the water is 100c the steam will burn your hand as the top of the handle has a channel for the open button to be depressed into and this will channel the steam towards your hand.
On the morning of the fourth day the base just made a ticking sound and would not work, unplugged and tried again still no joy.
Rang Grunwert and spoke to quality control about the failure and was very disconcerted by their lack of interest just said send it back to Amazon, they were surprised as it was a new model but they didn't really give any customer experience (God help the UK after Brexit if this is the future of our customer service going forward).
In summary not good design as pouring is slow, failed after a few days and supplier seemed unconcerned.
I would still love to have a kettle that kept the water warm, however I'd give this one a miss as it disappoints on many levels :(

ByzSooooo good, had one before but really like being able to set the temperature as we often have hot drinks that don't require boiling water, quick delivery, safe to use.
