milk steamer is the worst I have ever encountered
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

Alright, this does make great espresso, no denying that, so if that's all you want it for, then buy it, but consider the following firstThe milk steamer is so bad I thought there was a fault with it. I got mine direct from Kitchenaid, because I thought that would make my purchase safer. I imagine if I put this review on their site it would promptly be deleted, so I'm putting it here. I called them to get it fixed, and they picked it up. Then they kept it until the 28 days beyond which I could return it without question had passed, before returning it with the single message 'no fault found'.The fault I found? Even after the steamer had heated it produced hardly any steam, meaning you can't make a decent Latte. Even their official videos are somewhat sparse on demonstrations of the milk steamers capabilities. I should have noticed this myself I suppose. Then there's the fact you need to wash the plastic parts constantly, unless you enjoy the taste of stale milk. By wash I mean completely, as in take off and soak each time you use the machine, not just wipe down after blasting some steam through. I wasted a lot of money on this thing. In the end, after trying, and failing to get them to respond to my emails, I just bought another, better espresso machine from Sage. From here on I will have no further dealings with KitchenAid.
