People ask if it's loud but that's entirely subjective and hard to answer. It might be for one person and not another.My opinion is it's a tad on the loud side, but it's a kettle, it's on for a few mins every hour or so right?It's stumpy/short so the volume is from the width, which I like as it makes it study and not wobbly.Boiled a few times as suggested and no weird flavours at all as some seem to find. And I am a very fussy coffee drinker and GF loves her tea. We think it's spot on.Looks nice, works fine, cuppa for the win!
