Nice looking machine and the coffee it makes is great. However it does leak a lot so don’t stand it on anything valuable like a wooden work surface!Also programming the coffee volume is a very tricky process - the instructions given are rubbish so set aside an hour or so for this by experimentation.Nowhere near as good a machine as the old Nespresso it replaced but nicer coffee when you eventually get it.

Well designed coffee machine. Good value. Very quiet compared to my old Nespresso Pixie machine. Coffee pods are slightly cheaper too.

I've had two of these machines now, after Lavazza replaced the first one. Both machines exhibit the same issue - after about a month of working flawlessly, they begin failing to pierce the back of the coffee pod, meaning that the water injected into it just backwashes into the small water catcher which rapidly overflows and then leaks all over the table.I like the coffee, but the lack of reliability means that I will be chucking mine in the skip and buying another brand... once I've used up all the coffee pods.

Quick and efficient little espresso machine, which was well worth the money during the Black Friday discount period.There’s a good selection of Lavazza coffee pods for the machine - though it has to be said that they’re not well stocked in many of the supermarkets, so easier to order online than fruitlessly hunt around.Little tip - raise the chrome handle after your espresso is dispensed to release the used pod into the hopper below. If you leave a pod clamped in there and it cools you’ll need to prod a finger in to release it otherwise.Worth noting that when bought this model did not come with the selection of free sample coffee pods as Lavazza were in the process of switching over to their new compostable eco pods - so if you don’t have the samples included be sure to look in the box for the flyer which tells you how to claim them BEFORE throwing the box out (I may or may not be talking from experience).

Have had many many coffee machines over the years. Without doubt, this is the best. Used twice daily, quality coffee every time.

Bought this for my son-in-laws christmas present as he wanted it for his office at Uni. I have not been able to review it as I had to return it, hence the neutral review. Not because there was anything wrong with it but that he had already bought one. He had done a lot of research on it and said that it was excellent and would recommend it.

It is Christmas day and the machine no longer works! Am going to contact Amazon for a refund extremely disappointed.

With a pod inserted, it dribbles a small amount of liquid - maybe 2 seconds, then stops. Push the start button maybe 25 times to get enough coffee to make an Americano. Same thing happens without a pod, so cannot descale (a much over-rated solution offered by suppliers in order to blame the user for malfunction).As I have just bought a load of capsules, I will have to have another Lavazza machine. Paying more does not seem to make a difference - all my machines, of various makes and prices - seem to last just over a year.

Faulty from the start - programming function not working so only produces (tiny) espresso sized cups of coffee. Quite noisy too. Apparently part of a faulty batch - see reviews in other sites. Returned for refund - will make sure I get my p+p back too!
