Mopped up the floor, was fantastic. Is a bit delicate though should be handled gently
Amazon CustomerI wish i would buy 2 more
Amazon CustomerEcovacs robot does its job, but it won't find his charging deck most of the times, plus it gets stuck on walls for no reason.
saraExcellent. Always surprised at how much it sucks up.
AmazantThis item was Very Cheap but You do get what You Pay For. This Item is Rubbish! Irobot Roomba might be expensive but You are paying for A Quality Product
GadgetGuy72I wanted to wait six months before reviewing 'Deebot' as my children call it, to see if it could handle our level or dirt on a daily basis. I bought it whilst on sale as i couldn't of afforded the full price. It is so good. I honestly cant recommend it enough. Saved me so much time. Handles a house with two adults, five children under ten years old, two dogs and a cat. Collects so much fur and dust with no problem at all. I have noticed it works better on laminate and vinyl flooring which is perfect for us. I would love another one for upstairs. Going on my wish list. I haven't used the mopping function as I've been so happy with it just as a vacuum. It will get clogged with lego, hair bands etc but then it will just stop itself so you can retrieve. Excellent product,. If you are undecided, i can tell you you won't be disappointed. Henry the hoover is only used for the stairs and car now. GO FOR IT! x
Amazon CustomerGot mine shipped to Germany. First one started doing circles after 4 weeks. The replaced second robot stops randomly and runs out of battery after few minutes. Besides the technical issues the cleaning performamce is acceptable. Cleaning power is good, the movement espacially around obstacles is not sufficient. It does not clean the whole area nor will it find its docking station. I cannot recommend this product.
JurthDeebot has arrived and taken charge. It's forced me to tidy up some trailing wires that I'd long ceased to notice. It's also decided one of my waste paper bins is on the wrong side of my office and has firmly moved it across to a better position. It stops every so often and plaintively beeps until I investigate and find that it needs emptying because it's doing such a good job of finding accumulated dust and hair that my previous primitive attempts at vacuuming had failed to find. How did I manage without it?
JohnHOK, so I will start at the end... At 22months it's broken again and is an uneconomical repair. Its the same fault as 2 months ago that was repaired, and that was after buying a new battery at 18 months. This was the second Deebot as the first broke down in a couple of months and was swapped by Amazon without issue. So although I really liked it on my laminate floors, I'm so glad I only paid £99 for it on offer. If I had paid £290 I would have been well hacked off. There may be better on the market, but I don't think I will trust Ecovacs again, the quality is just not there. My original reviews in full...Firstly I have to declare I have a bias, I love gadgets - particularly ones that work.A technical review this is not, this is a can I live with or without it review. The only technical bit is to say what I am reviewing which is a ECOVACS ROBOTICS DEEBOT 83 Multiple Floor Cleaning Robot,in gold.I could not afford to spend £290 on a gadget I did not NEED, but I have wanted one for years. So when this popped up on offer at £99 (out of stock) I took a chance, and 10 days later it arrived. I have to say I would not have been disappointed if I had bought at full price. So what's it like. Well, I have all laminate floors downstairs (that I am still in the process of laying) and it is really good on laminate. I have a living room, dining room, kitchen and second living room next to each other, and it works it's way round them all, if I leave the doors open. As I am still in the process of laying some of the flooring and there are large gaps between some rooms and floor levels - I was amazed at how easily it handled them.I have 2 five month old Cocker Spaniel pups and 1 sixteen year old Cocker Spaniel, so how does it affect them? Well, the pups watched it with curiosity, from behind my legs at first, then inspected it, and in a very short space of time ignored it completely. The old lady, couldn't care less, it bumped into her like a piece of furniture and it turned away from her. She has actually stood on it
