Great coffee and easy to use
Thomas QuinnNo high speed finish, therefore no creme! Leaves water in the pod. The top does not snap shut unless you hold it down, then lock it. So disappointed!!
KathrynI love my original Nespresso machine but spending a small fortune to get a decent sized coffee so forked our for a new machine. Only had it a few days but I love it already. Dead easy to use, quieter and the traditional machines and like the bigger water container. If you don’t mind the colour you could save yourself £10!
Tracy CollierI must admit to being staggered by this machine. I was truly expecting the coffee to taste plasticky and fake. But it tastes absolutely glorious. It comes out hot which is more than any of my bean to cup machines managed (and I've tried a good few expensive ones in my frustration). The flavour is first class as is the body and crema. The Aeroccino that came in the bundle makes perfect frothy milk for a macchiato but you do have to use about twice the amount of milk you actually need for the coffee, in order to reach the lower minimum milk mark in the frother. In short, this combo and milk frother really do make coffee and milk as good as anything I've had in a trendy cafe or from any of half dozen bean to cup machines I have owned. And I'll say it again - it comes out very hot but not too hot! Worth every penny, especially at the deal price I paid.
Kindle CustomerGreat machine WHITE but ISNT WHITE it’s CREAM which is slightly disappointing in my white silestone kitchen!
DaniyellaI just got my 100 free coffee. Nice!
zhou fuxinReally lovely colour, works perfectly

FireflyI've been using nespresso machines for over 10 years and resisted the new vertuo machines as I couldn't see any benefit over the regular machines. In the end I fell for a promo but I'm glad I did. I much prefer the larger coffee sizes you can get from this machine and rarely use my traditional nespresso machine. I'm really impressed with the build quality of this machine too. Feels much higher quality than the price would suggest
Mr. G. CurtisAfter having previously owned a Nespresso machine, I was really excited to try their latest machines which use the new larger pods. We went to make our first drinks, no issue, worked like a charm and drinks were fantastic as expected. The next day we went to make our drinks, we loaded the pods in, pressed go and then nothing... after just one day the machine had stopped taking in water, we tried all the troubleshooting steps in the manual and still nothing. We also tried contacting Nespresso but their support team was incredibly unhelpful.I'm happy to report that in the end Nespresso have offered to replace the machine although it would be nice to have some replacement pods as we wasted lots of them trying to get it working again.
James PaylorI now had 2 of theses machines which have both leaked the first one leaked and got repaired and it leaked again then it got replaced now the replacement has started doing the same it leaks coffee out the back and over the worktop it sits on avoid until this problem has been fixed it’s obviously a poorly designed part that’s at fault
Mr. D. ChambersNice to have Nespresso offering several larger cup volumes. Not as great a variety of capsules available, but still plenty to choose from and flavour is exceptional. Very easy to use. Disappointing that it can't use the original capsules but as I bought it for the larger mug sizes this hasn't been a particular issue for me.
NJHornBrilliant coffee machine. The different types of pods provide different temperature based on the flavour.
For example, if you want your coffee to be brewed at the hottest it can, then use the Mug stormio or Mug intenso.
The melozio for example, has same taste and flavour as previous mentioned ones, but comes out a little less hot.
I also found buying the pods direct from the supplier is cheaper and that’s without the extra 10% they give you!
Easy to use, easy to clean, best coffee machine I got.
This is an initial review after a few days use.
I already have a classic pod Nespresso machine and love it, short coffee and lungo are great, on occasions I also use the milk facility its works superb. Now to this machine. There is no built in milk facility but you can use a separate milk froth maker sold separately should you wish, I already have an Aeroccino 2 so that is not a problem for me.
The sample pods are obviously bigger than the classic ones as they work for larger mugs. Using a standard mug with a standard mug coffee pod it works a treat, plenty of creme and a lovely smooth texture however a full mug is a full mug, no room for milk (I have no problem with this but some might) so if you want milk get one of the bigger mugs or use a lower volume coffee pod.
The machine has a powered open and close mechanism that is nice touch. Open the lid, pop in a pod and all is well. Close and press the button and it does it all, brew time, water quantity etc are all governed by the pod bar code however if the coffee container is too small you can press the button again and it will stop. One of the sample pods (a silver one) was to fill a large mug so I had to stop dispensing early. Most pods have the volume printed on them, that particular sample one did not. Of course when you purchase additional pods you will know the volume from the web information and the carton.
It is quick to brew although a little longer than my classic machine. the pod disposal is also pretty well thought out.
Will this machine replace my current classic? Not yet, the choice of classic coffee is greater and I like short coffees but when it comes to a full mug, the Virtuo has the win by a huge margin. short coffee I prefer the classic but it's all down to preference, I will keep using them both.
I've ordered a bunch of different varieties from Nespresso and will update further if needed.
Really nice quality machine, makes a great coffee with little mess, milk frother works really well and heats the milk too which I didn’t realise.
Cheapest place I could find it and delivered within 24hrs, can’t go wrong!
Also - don’t forget to register with Nespresso for the 100 free capsules.
I am by no means a coffee snob, although I enjoy a good coffee. I've always been intrigued, if a little sceptical, of the capsule machine concept. I still can't say I'm completely convinced by the concept, and your mileage may vary. If a capsule machine is what you're after, this is a very strong contender. The Nespresso Vertuo line expands the concept beyond espresso into larger cups (like the trusty old mug I'm most comfortable with), while maintaining a good variety of flavours. That being said, the lines are not compatible, and the original line has more variety in the espressos, so you make your choice going in. If you want more coffee than just espresso, Vertuo's the way to go.The machine itself is fairly average in size for a coffee maker, fairly slender and tall, both well designed and very easy to use. The head on the Plus model here opens and closes electronically, which seems a little frivolous, although that little pop as the head punctures the capsule is deeply satisfying.Best of all, There's no need menus or dials or manual programming required. Each capsule has a barcode under the rim that tells the machine exactly how much water to use. Handily, if your cup size doesn't match up to the expected size, or you want to leave room for milk, you can easily re-programme each cup size to your needs. Once your capsule is loaded into the machine, simply tap the button, and once it's warmed up, it begins the (surprisingly quiet) centrifugal brewing process. All in all, it takes about 2 minutes to pour a single cup of coffee, hot but drinkable temperature, and with a nice rich crema on top (varying by capsule). It could not be easier.Included is a box of 12 unique capsules, each with ridiculous names, covering the different sizes, strengths, and flavours on offer. I must admit, on first taste I wasn't bowled over by any of them, but I did enjoy a few of them, including Stormio and Melozio. I've since ordered a few batches of capsules, and found a few more I enjoy such as Intenso, and Caramelizio. There were a f
Paul FergusonI've had two of these machines within a year, the first failing after less than 3 months, the second, a brand new replacement, after 7 months with the same problem. The first time, it took 5-6 weeks to get it sorted, with Nespresso sending me a brand new one after failing to fix and a variety of customer service issues: i.e. we'll call you back (didn't), spare part will be here Weds (it wasn't), fixed by Monday (wasn't), fixed by Thursday (wasn't) etc. I had no loan machine during this time as the service representative said they didn't do that (not true.) Now it's failed again, it is 2 weeks until they can pick it up. Someone was supposed to call back about this and didn't (of course.)This machine is unreliable and customer service has gone down the pan, so I can't recommend it. It's not worth the aggravation: I've found the Citiz machine to be much more reliable, presumably because it's much simpler, although you would still need to put up with poor customer service.
Mr. A. JohnsonI bought a machine and it didn't work. The red ring of death came on during the first pre-use cleaning cycle. Some models may have a overheating issue. Test yours by running two clean cycles and then make a coffee. It is a pain to get these fixed as you have to wait in for a courier to collect it and the turnaround time is two weeks. I might get to make a coffee one month after purchasing this. I was told that Nespresso have to manage all issues and you cannot return these to the point of purchase.
JGWell made; little fuss; easy to use and most important of all - the best coffee ever. Always looking at reviews on Amazon and Which - this was the machine they highly rated.
penny leeLiked the easy no fuss way of making fresh coffee, taste great so many variety of coffees to choose from. The milk foamer is brilliant as well. The Vertuo looks very stylish and easy to use. Highly recomend.
