If you prefer your waffles on the crispy side, it might be worth getting a waffle maker that has an adjustable temperature gauge. Other than that, the machine works really well, though it is quite hard to clean, since the pans cannot be ejected.

Alesha Williams-RobanTried this for the first time, BBC recipe for waffle mix was tricky and then lumpy so hard to fill maker and it spilled out all through the sides meaning I had to spend half an hour cleaning it. not made in a way to keep it easily clean and don't like plastic housing as it heats up so imagine it will be leeching into edge of waffles.was good value but wish I'd spent more and got a model in stainless steel with lift out trays to be able to clean..
