Looks smart. Poor Build quality.
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

We have had this heater close to a month now. My wife accidentally knocked it over once. That was enough to break the hinge. Can't let it oscillate any more or else it will fall over. Disappointed with the purchase.

Unsealed box, with no documentation
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

Arrived in a box that was not sealed, upon opening there is no paperwork or documentation at all. I'm not sure if this is how it is supposed to come, however every other De'Longhi item i have purchased such as toasters and kettles came sealed and fully documented with warranty cards, manuals etc.I presume I have been been sent a return which no one checked, or worse they did check and sent it anyway. The item appears to work fine, and I as i need a heater now I will live with it. I will note the seller though and be wary of any further purchases

For a Delonghi product, I am disappointed. I had a radiator for a number of years which worked perfectly, albeit I could never find one without a dent, but that's another story.

I needed a tower heater, this looked the business. Turned up and the Timer and Oscillating buttons on the heater do not work, but they do on the remote.

It feels cheap.

Oh, and the fans CANNOT be turned off. According to the box, it has a giant "Silent" sign on it, with a statistic of 41db. Well, with an app on my iPhone, the lowest fan setting (Mode 1) is 61db.

Take these in to account if you do purchase.

A Big Disappoinment
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

It’s a big disappointment considering Which rated it as the Best Buy and very quiet! It’s much noisier than the smaller cheaper heater it was bought to replace, and it won’t switch on and off on a timer on the mains lead or the Hive system. The so-called digital 24 hour timer only restarts whatever program it was using when switched off so you have to remember to get it working before switching off and setting the timer.

Good heater but cheap and shoddy remote control.
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

Heater is really nice so far but the base is really flimsy and the remote control must cost 50p to produce, really shoddy and cheap plastic. It
cost almost £90 so why do companies penny-pinch on things like the stand and remote when the heater itself looks to be well made.

Does the job. Noisy.
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

Heats up (18 to 20 celsius) a 15m2 x 3m ceiling height room in 7 minutes in the lowest power mode (position 1). Thermostat working as stated. Noisy as hell though. When the thermostat kicks in and heater stopped you are happy to hear the sounds of silence again.

The dial controlling the fan speed didn't work. Not worth paying the extra money for this product when plenty of cheaper products out there which do the same job and are probably fully functional on delivery.

Too expensive to run for anti-frost protection
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

Main reason for buying this was for it's anti-frost function. I'd expect this to come on when the temperature dropped below about 5 degrees, but in my experience I've found the temperature to be over 11 degrees with heater still operating.

This product has the same fault as other people have been complaining about whereby the anti-tilt/switch off mechanism keeps activating itself! Very frustrating and a very useless heater!
