Brilliant appliance
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

This is a brilliant mixer that I would compare to the quality of a kitchen aid but is actually even better. This mixer has completely changed what I make in the kitchen. It makes it so easy for me to make and blend soups and smoothies. As well as this, it is also perfect for mixing cake and pancake batter. It is so easy to use and comes with an attachment for everything you would need. The blender is excellent and gets everything blended up very smoothly. It is a wonderful kitchen appliance and I could not be without mine now. I know I will buy another one if this one ever stops working.

A stunningly good Mixer, Essential for someone who love baking!
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

The moment you open this and set it up, you feel that this is a pro spec machine, fantastic build quality, and a delight to use, in my case a machine that is far beyond my humble cooking skills, but it makes short work of mixing the ingredients for a cake! It's easy to use and reassuringly heavy, the kind of item that feels like it can take years of use!The only issue for me is I have a small kitchen, so it does take up a lot of room, but that is outweighed by just how useful it is!I will add to this review as I try more things as I feel that this product deserves a little attention!

Good blender though expensive
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

This is a good, heavy duty blender. The motor makes light work of ice, for example – the acid test for a good blender. I have yet to find anything that it does not blend. It makes good smoothies – it is fun throwing anything in and experimenting (some taste better than others). What surprises me is how good some improvised smoothies taste. In that respect, it is good for losing weight and for eating more healthily – it is fun to experiment with, throwing in whatever I have around. It feels reassuringly heavy and chunky - it feels good quality.

Very good mixer
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

This works pretty well. I'd say it's a bit on the bulky side than I'd prefer, and some of the attachments are somewhat fiddly, so not a full 5 star effort, but all the functions work very, and it's generally excellent to use, once you've lugged it onto the worktop and set it up. Recommended.

Good workhorse mixer when used for general tasks
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

As a soup maker, it's a bit of a disappoint- you have to peel, chop, and cook the ingredients before adding to the belnder (which does heat). As an ordinary blender, though, it does quite well. I've chopped ice in it (small cubes) and made smoothies in it, and it was fantastic for that. The heavy duty glass jug and tightly fitted lid gave me no worries about the ice damaging the jug or the top popping off. The stand mixer is likewise great. I've had a 1970's Kenwood Chef workhorse for years, kept well maintained, and this actually makes a creamier batter. The buttons look quite daunting, but it does come with a DVD that clearly explains how to use it, and it's not as complicated as it seems before watching it. Some of the things it can do require accessories that you'll have to buy separately- such as a mincer, and the piece you can put in the blender in order to boil eggs (not sure why I'd want to use it for that, but I guess some folks might). It is quite large and takes up a large footprint on the countertop, so be aware of that if you have limited countertop and cupboard space. Having said that, the feet on it keep the bulk from moving across the counter, no matter how fast you have the machine going, so once you have found space for it, it won't migrate to anywhere else unless you move it intentionally.

Easy to use and stylish too
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

The dispatch time, packaging and overall quality of this blender was all very good. The blender works well for making soups, smoothies, fruit compote, and it also mixes eggs and flour really well too. It's easy to assemble, easy to clean and straight forward to operate. However the recipie booklet and instruction Manual included with the blender was very poor indeed with hardly any instructions given on the blender use or recipies where the blender is specifically needed to be used.Overall great product but with useless paperwork included

Fast , smooth blender
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

Personally I'm very impressed with this blender . Presentation wise it looks impressive, and although longer it's a reasonable size for storage in my smaller kitchen. It has a sturdy base with a light up control and some basic buttons. The jug is a larger size , with a nice handle and spout and easy enough to use but can be heavy when full ! So not for kiddies to hold - as my neice is unhappy about it.The controls are way to use, settings for timings and arrows to control the speed . With the basic power button.I found the instructions useless but it's easy to figure out plus there are loads of YouTube videos on how to use plus different ideas for recipes .Mixing wise its fantastic, I have had loads of blenders over the years and some of them struggled with certain items like bananas , or could only blend for a second before sounding like they were burning out . However this is like a tornado and zaps through anything ! Really quick and you just turn it on and your reaching to turn it off again . The blades works super smooth .I haven't tried clever recipes yet, just stuck to smoothies but from what I see you can make lots of recipes so if your looking for something more than a smoothie maker I would highily recommend this .For cleaning it's easy enough to use , bit of water and washing up liquid and a quick blend.Definitely I am very impressed and would highly recommend as its the most efficient blender I have came across .

Makes Good Soup
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

Having owned several soup makers I was tempted into getting this one thanks to the detachable blades at the base, making it much easier to clean. It is a good little piece of kit and I like the idea you can do more than make soup with the addition of the steamer basket. It is a bit larger than the kettle style soup makers I've owned previously, but the capacity is greater too. Having a very small kitchen with limited storage space I think the detachable design would be a good opportunity for the manufacturer to produce additional accessories you could use with the one base such as a juicer or food processor - a big bonus for those of us without the space to store multiple appliances.
My only negatives are the plastic retaining clip for the blade and the seals on the blade and lid - worry they will not last the duration. Having said that with a 3 year guarantee that should not pose any issue as they will hopefully be covered.

Good in function, but way too bulky.
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

Now let's get something out of the way first, I am a kitchenaid kinda guy. Admittedly however, if you are after something beyond a good mixer and don't want to spend a fortune this may be for you. The mixer is good and the heating function important. The attached blender is an oddity, but look at it this way, these devices are bulky already, so you might as well cram as many functions in there as you can. Overall I am happy with it, but I would advise seeing one in a shop before you buy as it may be too chunky for your taste.

Fantastic!
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

This Nutrimaster N12001A is easily the best mixer I think I have ever had, in fact to call it just a mixer does a huge injustice to it as it is so much more and really is such a multi functional device. It will probably take me several years to get around to trying all of the functions. The blender will get lots of use in my house mixing up smoothies and protein shakes, that's for sure.I have to admit that I have never made home made soup but I am definitely going to give it a go now that I have the perfect device for it. I may even venture to trying my hand at making the odd cake and home made bread or rolls now.The device itself is quite heavy and reasonably large and it does up quite a bit of room on my kitchen counter, but it seems very solidly built. I can't fault the functionality and ease of use either, the display is easy to read, the speed settings easy to change and the range of accessories seem more than adequate.Overall a fantastic product and usable by the novice, like me, to the more seasoned cooks out there.

It's packs a punch, with some neat touches
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

On getting the unit unpacked, my initial impression is that the unit itself is quite heavy / chunky, but gives a real sense of solidity. It might be a challenge in a small kitchen, but the immediate advantage is that it doesn't move / bounce around the counter, especially when in use!The whole feel is of a good solid build and it certainly chomps through all the tougher vegetables, nuts, etc with little effort. The controls are all sensibly set out, and are protected by a wipe clean surface. The timer function is my favorite feature. Just set it up, set in motion and I can potter about with other jobs in the kitchen at the same time.I do like the design, but my only criticisms are aimed at the lid, which doesn't screw down (it pushes down into place) and can be a little fiddly to get secured into place. The lid also needs to be removed (not quite completely) remove / pour the contents out.On a major plus, the blade setup has a pair of 'dropper' paddles, that lift from the very bottom of the jug. So, there's little chance of material getting stuck below the blade (I've whizzed up a batch of humus, no problem at all). The sides of the jug are also very clearly marked out, with imperial and metric measurements, as well as cups and weights.

Much more than a mixer
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

Testing this as a free product from the Amazon Vine program.Much more than a mixer, the Nutrimaster is truly versatile.Reviewing this at quite an early stage, as there are many functions, uses and recipes to try out.The concept of preparation and cooking in the same container makes for less clean up, and the motor seems more than adequate to cope with most everything.Good for families, especially those with picky children who may not be keen on vegetables or fruit as you can retain the flavor and goodness by blending, without the textures where applicable. On the plus side, it's easy to use, intuitive, and easy to clean. On the down side, it's very large, heavy and expensive.I rated it 4 stars, after limited testing

Excellent soup maker plus more
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

Having read previous reviews of this product it appears there has been a revamp of how this product is packaged.Early reviews mentioned a lack of recipes suitable for it in the enclosed book. This has been remedied and the recipe book is packed with recipes for many soups plus bolognese. The box also contains a DVD which gives more recipe hints and tips. The soup maker itself is sturdy and the feet hold it securely to a work surface by a use of slight suction. The front panel is clear and easy to read with large buttons which are helpfully labelled according to function.Although the recipe book was great I simply threw in some left over vegetables, some stock and seasoning then switched it on and within 30 mins had a lovely soup.We have also now made bolognese in it which was simple to do.All parts were easy to clean as they went into the dishwasher. So we loved it.PROSEasy to use.Handy enclosed recipe book and DVD for hints and tips.Measuring jug an integrated part of the main jug.Clear and easy to read buttons.NEGAnother item to store which is not ideal in a small kitchen. You could do everything this product does in a saucepan....but it heats and cools and you don't need to watch it. Just set the timer and go back when it's complete.

Kitchens of Distinction

Extremely versatile machine that makes smoothies, soup, scrambled eggs and sauces as well as fluffy scones, cakes and bread. The instruction leaflet is very basic but it still pretty easy to use. It does a lot but it is quite large and would take up a lot of room in a small kitchen.

A cut, or even chop, above the rest?
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

This is certainly one well built beast in that it seems very robust both in weight and build quality. The motor powering this device is rated at 1500 watts and for basic home derived items from such a machine should be quite ample as it is rated for home use least we forget. The blurb on the box tells us that it can ‘tackle over 50 kitchen tasks in one machine’ but while we perhaps in our kitchen might never have the need or desire to go to this limit, its reassuring that you have the scope to attempt them in just one bundle so to speak. It has three pre-programmed settings plus variable speed control, pulse control and with the digital timer display, it really looks the business and a quick read though the instruction manual points to the fact its quite simple to use. The two litre container is quoted as being shatter proof with a spill proof lid with movable lid plug. The metal to metal coupling that connects the container to the base unit fits quite snug and has a good solid feel to it - we had an old model of a different make that the name escapes me at the moment that was really a flimsy fitting as opposed to this being a really good fit like this one. In use it performs well - as a blender, it reduces items to juice in mere seconds plus seeing it dice and chop is quite something and all down to that motor driving it all. In the desserts and ice cream dept, it’s no slouch as are currently experimenting with assorted recipes!. The nicely shaped and sited side handle on the container is well thought out and a joy to grip, as a friend who suffers with arthritis pointed out to us, but the delightful LCD readout control panel really sets it off and you can see at a glance how it’s all going. Also included as well as the brief but adequate instruction manual is a spiral bound recipe book plus the advantage of extending the guarantee to three years by registering on-line and that is a nice touch and shows they have faith in their products. Its amazing how many kitchen appliances are white in colour these days, so

Good Blender - Retro Looking & Large
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

The product works and is very effective.I like the rather retro look of this product but it does have a large footprint - so you need a certain amount of space to keep it out all the time. The goblet is plastic which keeps the weight down - I have another blender which has a glass goblet and I think that one is easier to clean. This blender is much taller than other similar gadgets that I have used and this was the one this I did not like - you had to reach up to add the ingredients.Personally for hot stuff like soups - I prefer to use a hand stick blender - personal preference - just feels a little safer to me.
