I have a Nutribullet 900. I think it is an awful machine. I have loads of rust on the base of the blade unit. Today I realised this rust gets into the blade area and consequently into my juice. It often leaks into the base unit. The noise when working is so loud I can’t be in the room when it is working. It is very difficult to clean around the blades.I feel totally disappointed. I thought I was buying a quality item.
sue smithWhat can I say. I bought this thing a bit over a year ago in April 2019. I have now replaced it - and in it's short life I have found a few pretty annoying flaws:- The machine is activated by pressing the cup down against the base (you can rotate to lock it in place). The machine is activated by 3 small teeth on the cup pressing down against spring-loaded switches. The springs are quite strong and 2 of the three teeth have broken off. Superglue does fix this, but it really shouldn't come to this.- The blade assembly can't be put in the dish washer. It is very hard to clean both the rubber seal and the seals in the middle of the blade assembly as you simply can't reach them properly. I could never get them completely clean.- The blades lose their blending power quite quickly, and it's not all THAT great to start with.- The container has no pressure release. A couple of times I ran it for 20 seconds with soapy water (as recommended) the pressure has increased and it was VERY hard to separate the cup and the blade assembly. I'm neither a complete wimp nor Thor, but this thing had me wrestling with it for about half an hour each time. The last occurence has lead me to buy a (more expensive) competitor's product after not getting the ruddy thing off at all. I've thrown it in the rubbish blade assembly still on.- Especially when using the pulse function (but also, albeit rarely, with locked-in-place) the blade assembly can turn itself loose from the cup causing whatever you're blending to leak out into the base.- The base itself is not easy to properly clean - especially annoying when the cup has leaked again.All-in-all while 70 pounds may sound cheap, with it only lasting a bit over a year that's not very good value for money (at least to me) versus some of the (albeit far more expensive) competitors, who at least last 5+ years without having the constant problems and little annoyances of the bullet.
D. MartinLess than 6 months after the purchase of this product with only about 6 usage, it stopped working.Worse of all is I could not reach the retailer. Tried, It was really frustrating and even Amazon was not helpful at all. I chatted on Amazon and after the request for detail of the product, no response from them till date. I feel really saddened each time I see the product in my storage and knowing I have been robbed and cannot do anything about it.This has made me never to purchase or recommend anyone to purchase electronics on Amazon.I still kept it just in case I find a way to resolve or replace it which I doubt.I would not recommend anyone to purchase this product from this retailer, it looks like an imitation which is probably the reason no one ever responded.
BeebsThis is terrible. Not sure if it is a real nutribullet or a copy. I had the nutribullet 600 before purchasing this but after 3 years it stopped working. I wasn't sure from the start with the new one as it was a lot louder than my previous version I put this down to the higher power but was not impressed. Have had it for 8 weeks and it has got even louder and is now deafeningly loud. It does not sound right at all and I have to suffer an unbearable 2mins every day when making my smoothie. Its so bad it needs replacing asap so was money completely wasted. Unfortunately there are no return or refund options on this and I am only now seeing all the other one star reviews on this product. I would not recommend this at all.
Amazon CustomerI like this, it does a good job of finely blending my smoothies. One slight downside I find is that it leaks if the lid is not on quite tightly enough, but if you put the lid on too tight, it's hard to remove after blending, because it's quite wide and you need a pretty big hand to fit around it if you're struggling to loosen the lid! There's an optimum tightness which isn't always easy to find.
Doctor TI originally had the breville blend active and thought that's was good until it stopped working. I then exchanged it for this & wow how wrong was I. This nutribullet is so powerful it even breaks down all the small seeds in berries so the smoothies are really smooth. Well worth the money, great buy.
LaipsThis is a fantastic blender! It’s so quick and easy to use, quick to clean (which is good because I’m no fan of house work), and it’s portable jug with flip-open-lid means I can do smoothies quickly before dashing off too work. It blends even frozen food in 30 secs, if anything it’s more powerful than I need but a brilliant blender none the less. Really compact too.
alskiVery fast and reduces stalks etc.. into puree very quickly. A bit noisier than I thought it would be. Also, have had great problem with detaching blade unit from the larger vessel supplied - extremely hard to grip it - happened on 2 occasions already. So avoid getting any product caught in the 'thread'.
JosieSimple to use. Nothing
JamesEasy for one person washing up simple. Perfect smoothy in 60 seconds. healthy breakfast shakes for a hectic life. I use it every day..
AndreaEasy to use, powerful and it looks nice too..
RhiannonThe nutri bullet is a fantastic product that is very versatile and can be used for a variety of uses, smoothies, soups or milkshakes. Works quickly and efficiently! Easy to clean.
JoI gave my daughter my Ninja and replaced it with the Nutribullet. What a disappointing! I used this product for the first time today, and to say it was not fit for purpose is an understatement! At first I thought the leakage was due to me not tightening the blade lid properly on the cup, but when I retightened the lid and turned it upside down, the liquid just poured out from around the "seal" ad can be seen in the video!!
Ms E EllisPerfect for everyday use, and relatively easy to clean. Not as strong as I hoped when blending frozen fruits or ice, but it gets there eventually (just takes a while)
weekndltEasy to use, performs really well
DaphHave few blenders and this is a monster
ScottIt is much quieter than my previous one. None - replaces my old nutribullet that sadly stopped working after many years of hard use
Rebeccapowerful enough to make a proper smoothies. still some bits left even if you blend it for a reasonable time
DennisLovely blender, downside is the cup tend to break easily.
