KeithMy machine arrived on time as stated but came without instructions or recipes. On contacting Tower they were very courteous and downloaded the instructions for me which were clear on how to use the machine, BUT with no recipes for the machine I have yet to make a decent loaf of bread from the recipes I have looked up on line. There is a programme for sour dough bread, which I would dearly love to make, but all the recipes I have looked up on line state to take the bread out of the machine and put it in the oven. So overall I can say I am a little disappointed in the machine.
Amazon CustomerLeaflet that comes with it is fairly useless. Best to look online for bread recipes. I’ve mainly used it to bake wholemeal bread - results vary but normally get a good loaf from it. Tends not to brown loaf on top too well so loaves don’t look so good but they taste fine. Looks good on kitchen top but given the choice again I’d probably go with a more expensive bread maker - you get what you pay for.
Pipster2This machine is a waste of time. The blade gets stuff in the loaf so when you remove it you are left with a huge hole throughout the bread meaning you can’t even get one decent slice. Very disappointed
Gemma CallenderBought a separate book as the one that came with it wasn’t easy to use. I have had a problem right from the start that the paddle sticks to the completed bread then rips half the loaf trying to get it out. Wish I had returned it as it’s pretty useless really.

DragankaThe Breadmaker makes good bread if you follow the recipes but measuring is by 'cups' rather than weight - which is a little hit and miss!.However the major fault with this machine is the shape of the paddle. Extracting the paddle from the finished loaf leaves huge holes in the base of the loaf with part of the bread still attached to the paddle.I am looking to get my money refunded or a different shaped paddle!!
Smoking Bobthe instruction and recipe book is not very clear on how and when and recipes for dispenser, including weights. Having had a bread maker since they were invented, normally Panasonic, I do make lots of types of bread and now have to spend time on translating these to your machine.

I have tried putting oil and butter on the shaft without success and the only suggestion from Tower has been to take the paddle out before baking - defeats the idea of a bread maker! Would be so good to bake without giant hole in the bottom of the loaf which I have never had before in 30 years of experience.

jennybirch2012I TRIED THIS OUT AND MADE SOME BREAD THE FIRST TIME WAS O.K BUT NOT GOOD THE SECOND TIME WAS USELESS I DID AS THE INSTRUCTIONS SAID BUT MADE NO DIFFRENCE THE BREAD WAS A FLOP I DON'T LIKE THIS BREAD MAKER I HAVE USED MY OLD MORPHY RICHARDS BREAD MAKER NO TROUBLE I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS TOWER BREADMAKER TO ANY ONE UNLESS YOU LIKE DIGITAL TYPE MACHINES DON'T BUY IT

Deborah JohnsonReturned machine not to happy with safety aspect. Dough spilled over loaf tin and ended up on element which proceeded to burn and fill room with smoke, no cut out on machine. Luckily caught it in time otherwise would have caught on fire etc etc. Probably a bit of operator error involved but had made about 20 loaves prior to the incident with no adverse effects!!
Amazon CustomerArrived very quickly. After a very short time in use, the breadmaker is clanging and banging, and there is a black residue underneath the pan. I can tell that the moving part underneath the pan is banging against its housing and cutting into it. This will not last very long before it shears through, and will be unusable. Very disappointed.
