It's the best investment you can make for your diet if you like bread
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

This review is way overdue as I purchased my breadmaker in January 2020. After dietary changes by choice (healthier eating), we experienced not only the difference in our health (obviously homemade bread contains different ingredients to standard bread sold in stores) - which is an incumbent benefit - but very consistent results once we researched our ingredients and going organic. This is a good breadmaker for the novice or the more well versed.Fruit loaf, spelt, malthouse, nothing is off-limits. Pizza dough and focaccia bread is an easy win also (soft sultana cookies were made by hand).

Dreadful
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

I suppose it's not really fair to write a review when I don't have a machine that's functioning. It's clearly faulty; dispenser doesn't activate, lights are showing for stages that shouldn't be happening yet (eg "bake" when it's still in "rise" phase) results are horribly mixed, despite using same ingredients and same recipes and there's a horrible intermittent grinding noise. Contacted customer service who asked me about the protein content of my flour and expiry date on my yeast - how these affect the functioning of the machine I have no idea. I replied with the information requested (both satisfactory) but have had no response. As they don't have any machines to sell at the moment I'm surprised that they don't have time to deal with dissatisfied customers. I look longingly at the photos of perfect bread from other users - but I can only dream.

Avoid. Quality issues.

It’s big. It’s heavy. However we were having great fun baking bread when on the 3rd recipe the Teflon coating started to peel which made it impossible to use. In fact I had many sleepless nights worried some might have got into our second recipe without us noticing. Massive fail :’(

Top of the range
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

Now we’re in lockdown I decided to finally buy a bread maker. Always have lots of flour around anyway so thought I might as well. Actually only used ingredients that had expired (best before date anyway). I’ve made pizza dough and a normal white loaf so far and both have been lovely. The pizza dough was immediately rolled thin and baked in a normal oven at the top temperature. It was great, nice and thin and crispy like I prefer. As for the white loaf I was slightly disappointed that there wasn’t a freshly baked smell that I could tell but the loaf was great, lovely and soft. The only problem I have is slicing the bread without making a mess.

I AM IN LOVE!!!!
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

I love this SO much - it's so easy to use and makes perfect bread every time! My 5-year-old pretty much does it all by himself, and I'm sure we have already saved the cost of the machine on the amount of bread we haven't had to buy from the supermarket, not to mention packaging waste etc. The best of the best. Would recommend to everyone (and indeed, I have done!)

Expensive for what it is, all the others do the same thing. Only advantage is the blade flattens.

Better than most, not good enough

This technically makes bread, but with little flavour and crust development. The heating element is at the bottom and so the bread also cooks unevenly.

Machine is good but the folding paddle has broken. Trying to get a replacement near impossible. Sage haven't got any in stock. Machine is useless.

Precision is required to get best results
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

Takes a bit of getting used to. Our first 2 attempts were an epic failure as we got our flour portions wrong. But having researched on the differences between “ml” & “grams” in bread flour measuring, we nailed it. So do bare in mind if you are a novice in baking that you have to get everything right as the machine won’t do that for you. It’s a good investment for sure as we get to make our custom bread and pizza with non dairy cheese as well.

I recommend it. After more than a year of use still going strong. I did jam, different types of bread (white, whole-wheat or a combination between them), pasta dough with very good results. The fruit dispenser sometimes doesn't open completely, but usually no problems, just need to double check. You can do more or less with it. Good for small or big families.

Gluten free review
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

I used to have the panasonic one. So I am not new to bread machines with a gluten free setting. So far this machine has failed to cook the top of the bread. The sides and base come out well done even on the lighted crust setting while the top looks like it is still dough but that is the loaf cooked!! I question the rises on this setting. It has 3 rise cycles but I think 2 is enough. They the end of the 3rd cycle the middle of the top of the loaf has sunk after it raised really well. So the rises are too long.it said you can pause cycles and adjust the programmes but you can't do that to the GF setting as far as I have tried and tested. If I make the larger loaf using 750g flour as on the back of the packet (doves farm) it spills over the pan onto the heating eliment which them burns if it goes to cook setting. If you keep an eye on it and stop the machine to clean it, it is not easy to clean and the bread is then not able to be continued obviously so you waste it. I have tried a shops own brand flour also and the results and troubles are no different from the Doves farm. I am quite dosapointed in this machine to be honest a lot of money to spend and not have the top of the bread cook regardles of size load you cook. I did try brushing with milk. Same result. I tried brushing with egg, same result. It just doesn't cook the top of the loaf.

Excellent, easy to use, makes great bread
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

Makes great bread. Choices are wide ranging using the settings; size, crust etc, at the back is a slot to keep the recipe books. I make seeded bread and the dispenser releases them during the process. There is also a little light inside at the press of a button. Generally you end up with yummy bread, a uniform rise across the baking pan and minimal hole in the base where the paddle was.

There's nothing like waking up to a freshly baked loaf of bread. But when there's over 60 different settings to choose from, how do you make sure you get it right? Fruit and Nut Dispenser

Mix fruits, nuts, grains or jam into any recipe. The chute opens automatically to dispense ingredients into the dough at the appropriate time in the kneading cycle.

Smart Interface

Most bread makers have dozens of different recipes and settings. A turn and confirm dial makes it easy to choose between them, while the Smart Interface displays the major variables on one easy to read screen.

Collapsible Blade

Most bread makers bake the loaf with the blade still upright leaving a large hole in the base of the bread. This kneading blade collapses before baking to maximise the amount of usable bread.

Delayed Start

A built in clock with a programmable start time means you can time your loaf to be ready whenever you want, even when you're not around. Wake up to fresh, hot bread.
