Great machine . It makes a very good bread and good bread for pizza . The manual carefully explain the recipies for different kind of bread . Only one advice : never ever use self rising flower, the breads becomes a crap . Use only normal flawer and the program for the crispy bread if you want an excellent bread. The time to get bread from normal flower is around 3 hours but the machine can be programmed it turns on and off automaticaly.I reccomend this machine. Of course you have to find the correct recipie for your taste.

I have now made numerous loaves of bread and all have come out lovely. Have even used ready made bread mix and again the loaves have been lovely. Tasty and cooked through completely. Also made just the dough to made bread rolls, which again have come out well.

Over a 5 day period I made two loaves and attempted to make two more. The first was a white loaf, the top of which looked a bit odd. Not a normal crusty top to a loaf. The second was a wholemeal which did not rise properly (an apparent lack of sufficient kneading) and the top of which looked like an uneven dried mixture rather than a crust. The third loaf was supposed to be a small white loaf with ingredients exactly as the machines recipe. Settings number 2 programme; dark crust; small loaf. Motor sounded but ingredients were not mixed. The heater came on.Fourth loaf was as above but with half the ingredients (to test the machine). No motor sound at all. No mixing, but again, the heater worked. There was at least a day between each attempt. Decided to return the machine and go back to hand baking.Another oddity was that the machine is sold as a 1kg machine but the instruction book clearly instructs that one must not exceed 550g of flour, after providing recipes which require up to 760g of flour. What happened to that famed German efficiency?

This is great it does what it says on the box,you follow the instructions you get great bread, if you dont follow them you are quite likely to get a child of a lesser god, but having said that i think this machine is great.

This is making gorgeous So much better than my old one. I was a bit concerned at first as I had never heard of this particular make.
