Original blade 'went missing' - this was a replacement and fitted perfectly, as expected.

Goodness knows under what conditions this blade would actually fold. I've used it several times with different mixes and it behaves exactly like a normal blade, remaining upright and getting stuck in the bread. I've given it three stars though because it is well-made with proper non-stick coating, and it does mix really well (something to do with the curved shape of the blade at the top perhaps) so I will keep using it. But it does not fold.

Bought this as i had read the blade folds down at some point in process and you dont end up with big blade hole in bottom of bread. Ive tried it a few times and at no point has the blade folded down just to leave a small hole. Wouldnt buy again

Im giving 4 stars only because the paddle part itself is a lot lighter and floppy than the one that came with the breadmaker. I bought it cause my machine is making a clunky noise and thought it may be the paddle but it still makes the same sound with this one. It turns out at least i think so is that when its kneading the dough its a little heavy for the machine but it still makes darn good bread. This paddle is a great replacement for my morphy richards 48245 breadmaker. I just wish i could find a tall upright baking pan to replace my current one

I keep leaving mine in the bread and throwing away by accident like a numpty. So these were cheap enough to buy a few in one go and they fit my other breadmaker too..

I bought a Morphy Richards 48326 Breadmaker but found that it came with the solid kneading blade. As I had had a drop down one on a previous breadmaker, I decided to buy one of these in the hope that all MR accessories fit all breadmakers; fortunately it does, though it is slightly loose and does occasionally end up in the bread. Pretty good price, though it is available cheaper from the Marketplace.
