SuzyThe scale is elegant and basically easy to use, and appears to quite accurate. Our problem is, however, that the scale switches itself off after quite short time (seconds). It can be awakened if touched, but at some time (which also is quite short, and not adjustable) it switches itself off completely, showing 0 when switched on again. This is a problem when adding ingredients over some time, losing track of the actual amount.

Colin MeadsSeems good quality but the Food codes are enough to make me wish I hadn't purchased it. I bought it purely as a calorie counter for medical reasons. Not only are they in fairly random, non alphabetical order (due to the direct translation from German) but some basic essentials are missing, such as peppers. (I will see how these can be added)When they were creating this list, it will have been done on a computer listing - so WHY did they not simply list as alphabetical after translation?Probably fine if you don't wish to read calories.
