Extra long cord made ironing much easier. No effort at all on bedding glided through in no time at all. Will need to practice on lower temperature items as settings very different to my old iron but that's down to me not the iron. Love it!!!!

ElliottThe cord is long so there is less restriction as to where you can choose to iron, and less chance of it twisting or splitting. There is also a broad base to ensure that when the iron is vertical its less likely to topple over. The iron itself is quite light and glides easily. The settings for different fabrics are shown on the temperature dial and so there's little chance of scorching or damaging items. The iron does use a fair amount of steam but the well holds a reasonable quantity of water.I previously had a Tefal iron before the one I owned immediately before this new one and I'm pleased to return to a Tefal model, which is much easier than the iron i've recently replaced.
