as hand blender ok. as food processor not so good
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

powerful stick blender in a pan, say, making hummus for example. not so good fitted to the bowl or whatever you would call it. the food being worked on gets stuck under the blades and just whirls around untouched. if you put liquid in, or some more solid stuff, then it works, as it is picked up. im not happy with the performance as a food processor though. not enough power is transmitted to the blade for some reason. someone said the stick blender wont attach to the bowl. it wont unless you align it properly! its ok but im not overly impressed. first sign of it failing i'll chuck it and get something else. ive not tried the whisk. it looks pretty feeble but then all the ones ive owned have been the same.

Doesn't work, disappointed and am returning
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

Arrived nicely boxed, red model looked very smart.
Went to use blender for the first time tonight (27/12/16) to blend lentil and butternut squash soup.
I followed attachment instructions, but found that the blade shaft doesn't connect to the white plastic part of motor and unable to use.
Very disappointed and having lumpy soup for tea.

Good blender, but It's all fallen apart on me
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

Well, I've owned this since November 2014, and today i've just thrown away the last 2 parts, the hand blender and the cup. The blender just decided to unclip itself and then once I locked it together again, it began smoking and it stopped whirring around. Unsure what happened there! We use the blender probably on average once a week these days. The cup looked warn out after a few weeks of use due to the sharp edges of the blender scratching it all.

The whisk had to be thrown away in April, we hadn't used it before and were making cake mix for our daughter's 1st birthday, we found lots of small shards of melted plastic and we had to thrown everything away! A shame really, the product was very useful otherwise, but just poorly made.

Either buy much more expensive or much cheaper but not this
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

Well I bought this just over 2 years ago and it's finally completely broken - I was SO hoping that this one would be a little more robust than previous handblenders. I was only grinding a few spices in the mini food processor bowl (which I've barely used) and the plastic bits where the motorised part joins on to the top of the lid all broke. I used the handblender part for making soups a lot but again the join between the top part and the bottom started to fall apart (though still useable) about a year ago. I would expect it to last longer for the price. I think the only way to go is either very expensive Bamix (which I've never tried but friends rave about) or very cheap (Tesco etc) and be prepared to replace it frequently.
