If you juice regularly, this is not for you
gordon. it's just a faff to clean
JamesThis is an expensive item compared to other retail outlet yet the cheaper ones are better quality and performance wise compared to this one
DazI have no idea how this juicer got such high reviews from other people but I can say this is the most terrible I ever had!It does not juice kale or other leafy greens or anything that has a bit more fiber because of the tiny tiny teeth of the grater. Fiber clogged those little teeth up immediately and you have to take the whole machine apart, clean them and try your luck again. The machine is super tiny, including the waste compartment ... I couldn't even get a full liter of juice before the waste compartment was full to the brim! The feed chute also is tiny, you have to cut up your produce before juicing. The feed chute as well is very short and the produce keeps flying right back into your face when you are not fast enough to use the pusher! One good thing though... It handles carrots with ease and the pulp was the most dry compared to my old centrifugal juicers. Will gift this juicer away and already bought a high end slow juicer from Kuvings and boy the difference! Not only do I have loads more juice but it tastes so much better! No foam, no splitting juices, no soggy pulp and most importantly no airation... I now can prepare my juices in advance and keep them up to a week in the fridge, this is simply not possible with any centrifugal juicer! So happy I finally changed to the slow juicer and all thanks to this crappy Philips HR1832/01 juicer!
JaneThis was the perfect gift for my friend who had just moved into a new apartment in city centre . This was ideal as the kitchen wasn’t that big and didn’t have a lot of surface space . This was just the right size and so compact it didn’t take up too much space . they just love it and says it works a treat ..
Littled1234Juices. Very wet pulp. Very little juice yield. It’s a struggle to push fruit down cause the pusher keeps getting stuck.
IfeIt raises energy bill in £15 p/m
Edw. It doesn’t juice all of the product, I have big bits of fruit or vegetable in my drink.
SaraReturned it,It didn’t work.It had been partly assembled so it probably had been returned and repackaged and sold.
Bb. Had my juicer a few weeks. Easy to use, efficient, quick. However, it has just stopped working!!!! I am so disappointed. I was loving the juicing, now I need to find my receipt and return it.
LisaIts not "easily cleaned" as they say, it has 7 parts to be cleaned, they take a lot of space while drying and u only can put in 1 piece of whatever at a time, otherwise it just gets stuck
Lizit's a small machine that is good for a small family.it's not hard to use and my 11 and 10 years make their own juice on it.it is an okay product. the bad thing is you have to cut your fruits like the apples because it does not fit in it. I previously had a bigger version and I would just put the apples and oranges without cutting them.
isninoIt does a good job but it's very hard to take apart. The side panels that clip off require a lot of hand strength to pull off. It also splashes vegetable juice up the walls if you're not careful - you have to cut up the vegetables and use the plastic push-down thing rather than just push in a long vegetable, to stop splashback. It also splatters a bit of juice around the worktop when it comes out, even when using the jug that came with it a bit of juice escapes out to the sides.
TrucknrollThere are none. Makes awful orange juice. Very poor orange juicer.
AlanUsed this twice since delivery a few days ago... haven't been impressed so far. The main issue is that there seems to be a lot of air being forced through the juice spout and the feeding tube which causes the juice to splatter out and when the jug approaches being full, it blows the juice, making a mess in the process. Not good especially when juicing carrot or beetroot which can stain clothes... Also surprised at the number of lumps in the juice and the size of the juicer for the price - not a problem if you're making juice for 1 or 2 at a push but if you want to make a batch or for more, it's somewhat laborous as you have to cut all the fruit up into small pieces to fit the feeding tube and decant the juice into a bigger jug when the small one supplied is full. I used to have one of the classic Phillips juicers endorsed by Jason vale which currently seems far superior despite a similar price tag. Seems this juicer is not value for money right now. I'm going to give it a few more goes to see if any of the above changes before sending it back, but I can't see it doing so.
Amazon CustomerIt does juice pretty fast. Unfortunately I can only get about 2500ml / half pint before I need to clean it out, which is not hard to do, just a bit of a pain. The juice comes out with a fair bit of pulp in it, which is not very thick unless the collection bit is overfilled or the rotating metal sieve has become clogged with pulp, so it's pretty enjoyable juice, but I sometimes have to put it though a regular sieve before drinking. It does also make a HUGE mess all over the counter!
NitsanNot worth the money I wish I Never bought it . It’s slow and not doing what I wanted to do
LeightonI bought this juicer solely based on its compact size and good reviews. However, I am sadly disappointed. It is one messy machine and leaky while juicing. The juice from the pusher while inserting the fruit leaks and so, juice is all over the juicer and if you try to insert a piece of orange, the juice squirts out of the spout and all over my kitchen counter top and walls! Once done, trying to remove the pulp from the pulp container is a very messy business. I wish I went for a juicer where the pulp is discharged in a separate bowl. I would not recommend this product to anyone just for the sheer mess that it creates. Very upset.
JustJuiceLooks good. Spurts your juice everywhere as the cup is to short. Does not make 1.5 litres before cleaning. Loads of parts to clean, same as cheaper juicer. I get lots of bits in my juice from the holes in the side of the blades. Not happy the cheaper models do just a good job. No recipes included.
August11Working in kitchens, I know juicers and the amount of juice you can expect to get from a fruit or vegetable. This juicer is does the job, however I would say that it juices the fruit only at about a 50% of its capacity, meaning you have to use rather a lot of ingredients for just one glass of juice. However looking on the bright side - it means you're left with a really juicy and flavourful pulp to use in baking or any sort of cooking - don't throw it away!
