Love this, goes perfectly with my coffee machine and easily packs away in my cupboard.
Amazon CustomerI'm a little disappointed. You need to push really hard and in one precise spot to activate the grinder. The grind texture indicator is not accurate either, since it takes much longer to get a fine texture. I dont hate it, but some parts of it annoy me
JuliaBest buy ever... We could not be any happier... Good quality item and gave us great gourmet coffee without having to buy expensive junkie coffee makers. Strong recommend!
FabianaVery poor quality. Bought in March, broken in June so used approximately 15 times. Even if it hadn’t broken, the quality of the grind was poor
S WisemanWorks great and easy to use. Only slight annoyance is the little cleaning brush holder is small and the bristles of the brush get caught and bent backwards
JKThe push down lid has stopped working properly within 6 months.I now have to wiggle the lid to get it in the right spot to work. It's very frustrating and wouldn't recommend to anyone in future
Bit is working but the top press to grind sometimes doe not work or drops connection so calculation of how its grind inside does not reflect of what is inside.
Amazon CustomerThe machine is in almost daily use to make coffee powder from beans for my filter machine. The grinder bowl goes into the dishwasher happily and comes up smiling. The little brush sometime goes AWOL but in use it is very good at removing the last bits from the bowl. Love it!
RickyIt will:- most likely fail to tell you when to stop grinding- make a mess when you try to recover all the ground coffee- probably burn your coffee with the blade because (and I wish I knew that before getting my hand on that product) blade coffee grinder are not proper coffee grinder.
Guillaume RichardGreat grinder.
JoseA nice, simple grinder that does what you need it to. No settings for fine/course bean grind, it’s up to how long you press down for. The hopper is a good size and holds lots of coffee. Sturdy design, feels solid and the integrated brush is good for sweeping out the last bit of ground coffee.
KateA great basic no frills coffee grinder. A little messy to use at first, but fine after a little practice. That goes for getting the coffee to the desired fine-ness also. So to sum up, a great grinder but practice is needed to get the best results out of it.
Cutsville21It’s very easy to use and the design of the product is fabulous
MandyThis works well, although it seems to let the ground coffee stick to the surface of the lid and fall out onto the worktop! Maybe that’s just the newness but we didn’t have this problem with the same model it replaced.
AbrielleGood product, does exactly what I need it to do. Grinds coffee and spices and is cleaned easily
DavidMotor excessively noisy. Have to grind coffee beans for the longest time to get fine ground beans. Has a rubber seal in the lid which is very thin, which could lead to premature wear. Not a product if you are an early riser, and live in a multi-occupied building - It would wake the the neighbours.
DaveNice grinder like the way inside comes out for easy cleaning.
MissyMy husband loves it so I never get to use it ????.I think that probably says it all really.Great small grinder.
Mrs VI've had a few grinders in the past, this one is one point. Although the coarseness of the grind depends on what you are drinking and your personal taste, this grinder helps you find the right grind for the right brew. Take a little trial and error but once you are in the swing of it, its the one.
Mr Charles A MorrisonBought this for the enjoyment of grinding my own beans, which tend to be slightly cheaper per kg than pre-ground. I also tend to alternate between caffetiere, dripper and stove top espresso maker (depending on what's clean) so it's nice to have different grind options.Basics:Small, light and quite intuitive to use. Fits nicely into a corner on my worktop. You do have to push down on the top (rather than pressing a button) to make it grind, which does take a little bit of pressure & may be something to consider for those with back and shoulder problems. Having previously used a hand held manual burr grinder, which itself took quite a lot of effort, this may be a reasonable price to pay!Does it work?Yes! You set the dial for the number of cups of coffee you've put in the machine, and press down with the lid to get it going. Three lights on the front light up in sequence for coarse, medium and fine, and you release pressure once you've reached the grind you want. Simples! For the most part I've been pretty impressed with the consistency, with the odd occasion of an unground bean amongst the mix being understandable given this is a blade rather than a burr. My ome complaint would be that if you mistakenly relieve the pressure on the lid, the lights go out and the machine resets, leaving you without any real visual guide.Cleaning:Small brush provided is quite handy, as the machine has a lot of joining lines where grounds get into. As ever, grounds tend to get everywhere, but I think that's more my scruffiness than the machine's fault.Overall, a pretty decent little machine with a couple of setbacks that make it a bit of a pain from time to time. Happily recommend it to novices like myself!
SteveArtThe De'Longhi Coffee Grinder has the capacity to grind between 4 and 12 cups (up to 90 g) worth of coffee beans at any one time. The removable transparent bean container allows you to view how the grinding is progressing while LED lights indicate the consistency of the grind.
