seek new worldLooks can be deceiving I guess. Unfortunately the accuracy is pretty variable, as readings will differ depending on where an item is placed on the plate. The buttons are going to fail really quickly too, based on how easily they get gunked up and can't be cleaned

The reason for only 4 stars is because the stainless steel platform has scratched very quickly (I appreciate this is a functional item however aesthetics do play a part) and the stainless steel platform is slightly raised meaning it can be a little fiddly to clean if you spill ingredients etc. All in all - recommended.

Shashi Kapoor3 months in to having them and the top weighing plate has collapsed on one side, so ultimately they can't weigh anything anymore. Such a shame as I have the larger version of these and love them. But the quality of the small one has failed me. Can't see any way of fixing them either.
