JamesVery happy with the microwave , I bought in January 2020 , impressed enough to buy one for my daughter in April 2020.However the internal bulb flashes every time I open the door. I am unable to deal with this and can not find how to get the helpI need when visiting Russel Hobb ' help line'

It is important to her for the microwave to be easy to use, to have clear and very visual buttons (only four to worry about) that are easy to press. There was no turntable inside which made giving the inside a clean and wipe out very simple to manage. Absolutely perfect for an older person to use.

Was originally put off with the basic controls so looked for something else....then I realised I don't need all the other options I never used with my old microwave. It's simple to use, heats the food well, can fit bigger cooking pots inside and it's easy to clean and keep clean. Would never go back to a turntable microwave after having a flatbed.
Amazon CustomerThis isnt completely flat as it has a kind of seal around the bed. Its still much easier to clean than a carousel type tho. Lots of room inside and very easy to use. It doesnt have a clock tho. Shame as it means i have to switch it off at the mains or see 0:00 most of the time. If I need to buy a cheap microwave in the future then this will be a major contender. it would be hard to find anything better for under £100

Shuttle1981Good looking and because its flat (doesnt rotate) means you can put larger things in. Very slight criticism is that the quick use function isnt just one button, you have to press two buttons.
C.Z.Like others have said. The bulb doesnt last. Its less than one year old. I contacted amazon as i bought it from them and they took my details and contacted the manufacturer. Nothing happened! I am left with a useless microwave as i cant see whats happening inside. I will now buy a panasonic!
JayneWhen we sold our house the buyers asked for the microwave. It was perfect for us, so at our new home we bought another exactly the same. It’s capacious, easy to clean and simple to use. The inside light started to flicker after 11 months and Russell Hobbs replaced it with a new one. This did require a couple of emails but Russell Hobbs rightly arranged collection and delivery at their expense. Excellent product and service. Thank you.

Bought this to replace identical model which failed just after the warranty ended.Spoke toRussell Hobbs who said they couldn’t repair it-shame as it still looked brand new. Anyway I decided to replace it with the same as I liked it so much. Hoping for better luck this time.

Microwave ovens do not generate any heat themselves but instead emit waves of microwave energy which cause the water molecules in food to vibrate. This vibration produces heat which in turn cooks the food.
