I bought this iron as i was tiered of leaking irons and this one claimes not to leak at all. Well, i've never had an iron that leaks this bad! It has stained countless of shirts. When i hold it vertically, water poors out of the little holes like its on the clean setting (which it's not).I can say it has made ironing an absolute pain. Maybe mine is faulty? Unfortunately i ordered this on my previous amazon account, i cant recall the username or password for so can't ask for a return.
AVTemperature control non existent
jsj&roseI used to not mind ironing my shirts on a sunday afternoon with my old Iron. Then when it was time to replace I went for this. However, I am constantly having to re-iron each shirt at least 2 or 3 times, it just doesn't get the creases out. If you work in an office, you can't walk around with a creased shirt. Therefore I didnt enjoy this product at all and felt it complicated my life, and it thus went back.
TanisLiked the idea of an iron that self adjusted the temperature depending on the fabric. In reality however it doesn’t change temperature and just stays at a constant low temperature setting. Won’t iron heavy cotton shirts and poor on even the easy care shirts that I buy. Can only iron effectively by constantly pushing the steam boost button. The tank for the water is so dark it is very difficult to see the fill level. Conversely the blue light on top of the handle is blinding. Takes ages to heat up. All in all the worst iron I have ever used.
neillyIt's a good iron. Not the best I've ever used but it does the job. Not 100% on the "no shine" selling point as I ironed a pair of my son's school pants and there is slight shine, not as much as with an ordinary iron but still enough to make me turn them inside out next time, which defeats the object slightly.
Julie ThompsonNew iron. Used twice. Water dripping out already. Also the slide button at the top cannot be set to max steam. Very disappointed with purchase and plan to return as unsatisfactory.
J B.The iron does not get hot enough, shirts now take longer to iron! The optimal TEMP technology is a great idea.. but in practice... very frustrating. Also, due to the dark blue plastic water reservoir it is difficult to see how much water is there.
PadburyI like the fact that you don’t have to adjust the settings for ironing items made of different materials. The most annoying thing is the constant leaking of water down the handle when you iron. The water drips everywhere, even when the water reservoir is filled to the correct level.
David LawsI initially loved this iron and was very very impressed with it and thought the ironing quality was amazing especially with shirts; however after several months of ownership, I now find that I can only iron by constantly pressing the steam button, so now spend most of my time putting water in the tank, - which as its black is very hard to see when full. Shirts are no longer easy to iron.
S. WardDon't buy this product unless you're happy to have to shine a torch on it every time you pour water into it. It's impossible to see the water level. Who designs these irons? Not somebody who's ever tried to fill an iron with water! I bought it because I'd been happy with my previous Philips iron, but I'm certainly not with this one.
Elizabeth TaylorLike most of you I wanted an iron that could do the job well and quickly. Unfortunately this did neither. After receiving this I tried ironing a standard cotton shirt and gave up after 30 mins. The ‘auto temperature’ feature seems more like a gimmick. My search for a decent iron continues.

Amazon CustomerAwful iron. It leaks brown water even after it has been rescaled and cleaned. AVOID!!!!I purchased a second one and it did the same thing.
KLHIron everything from jeans to silk in one go with OptimalTEMP technology: the perfect combination of heat and steam – for faster crease removal with no risk of burn or shine marks.
