Good product, little heavy, not as easy to use as earlier model

Wanted something durable and for heavy duty ironing. Can't get better than this

I use this every day the only problem is that it is a little heavy.

Spent ages looking for a dry iron in the shops. Checked Amazon and saw this. Its more expensive than we were expecting a dry iron to be but it had good reviews and looked sturdy. In use it feels pleasantly weighty and it heats up sufficiently to iron the clothes. Which is just what we want. It comes fitted with a european two pin plug but an adapter is also supplied.

Ordered this iron about 10 days ago from Shock Buy in Italy. Arrived efficiently and in good condition. A little larger and heavier than my last Rowenta dry iron but is sturdy and irons well. Good long flex, great heat control access, good 3 sturdy 3 pin plug. Glad I decided on this rather than the plastic things that look like a child's toy.

I love the shape a weight of this electric iron, though unfortunately the one we received had some minor marks and rough spots on the chrome metal body.

Great product, I've been looking for a good quality dry iron for a while and this is perfect.

I hunted everywhere for a dry iron when my current one that lasted 12 years died. All I could find in the UK were steam plastic irons. The American dry irons were well-priced, but then there are customs and clearance charges making them expensive.Then I spotted this iron and am reasonably please with it. It arrived ahead of given delivery date, it's progress was trackable keeping us well informed. It is very well made and does give a good iron. The only reason I have not given 5 stars is, for me, I'd like it to be slightly heavier and reach a hotter temperature as I iron a lot of cotton and linen articles. Otherwise well done, Rowenta. Keep up the good work and well done sellers. Sad I have to go out of the UK to buy one.

This Dry Iron is an excellent buy it's not light like most. The Item is exactly as described, good price and fast delivery.

Having tried my mother's dry iron, when my steam iron stopped working, I was so impressed that I decided to buy one. Forget steam this little iron is fantastic and the heat settings brilliant. My steam iron I used to iron everything on Hot, but, not now. Only use Hot for my husband's linen shirts. If you do have stubborn creases just use a fine spray (bought mine from the hairdressers for £2.50) and they will go and not come back, unlike steaming which clears creases only to return when putting ironing away. Another advantage is it's so light and, therefore, less tiring. I don't like ironing, but, this little makes it quite enjoyable! If you need to buy an iron then buy this one.

My old, old Morphy Richards dry iron finally broke after 20 years, and it took a lot of searching to find a similar replacement. I can't be doing with steam irons with lots of plastic bits - they leak, and break after a few years, and I find them too big, so wanted a heavy, metal dry iron with no frills. The temperature control on this iron is visible in the product photos, it's the sticky-out bit on the front on the handle. The temperature control dial is plastic; no other moving parts, so I hope this iron lasts as long as my old Morphy Richards. Arrived from Italy in about 10 days, well packaged, complete with UK adaptor plug. I am completely happy with it. Feels very sturdy - perhaps not quite as heavy as my old one, but pretty close. Retro, but suits me perfectly.
