Don’t recommend it!

Lower quality compared to the Azur iron I bought in the past. But the reason I returned this item was because of the water dripping and consequent damage on cleaned clothes

Excellent results great iron.

This iron is lightweight and easy to use I worked on a professional steam press in a dry cleaners and this iron gives just as good results its steam boost button is powerful great for stubborn creases, and it was a bargain price.

I choose the purple one, It's okay for the price
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

I bought the purple one which makes it easier to see how much water there is in it. I would have preferred a longer cord as it's only just long enough . There's no water cup or cord clip, so if you have one on your old iron use that one. Weightwise it is quite light, which I was looking for and sizewise it's good. It doesn't iron as well as my old philips iron which was a bit heavier. I don't like the water refill cap as it opens sideways, which is annoying when trying to pour the water in. As for the safe store box, well that's fine if there's room for it, but I had to dispense with that as it was too tall for my cupboard shelf... hardly a selling feature. It does heat up very quickly and does have an automatic cut out when it's rested on it's heel.. all in all it's okay... Will see how long this one lasts.

Good steam iron
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

The iron is a bit heavier than my old Morphy Richards iron but the steam that it produces is far better and so the clothes are easier to iron. I haven't used all of the features on the iron yet but so far so good. The cord length is also very good.

A great iron
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

We had a Philips iron for approximately 10 years that finally gave up the ghost about 6 months ago. We purchased a cheaper replacement initially but it made the ironing harder work for several reasons so came back to Philips and haven't been disappointed. Use it for a lot of heavy material uniforms and it makes short work, the cord is a great length too.

I Would recommend
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

My original purchase had to be returned as it was faulty and the water leeked everywhere, since receiving a new iron I am more than pleased with this product, I use it for every day use, the stream function is very powerful, water tank is more than large enough one full tank will easily last half hour, glides with ease, very happy with it

Replacement under warranty also broke
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

Philips replaced the original I bought as the plastic lid to the water tank has two tiny little plastic lugs to create a water tight seal and one of these broke. The result was every time I ironed, clothes were soaked due to the angle of the water tank lid. After a few months the replacement iron that was sent has also developed the same problem. It’s a really poor design and the quality leaves a lot to be desired. I won’t be getting another.

Big Improvement Over Previous Iron

My wife seems to like this iron, although she hates the job of ironing! If it gets the job done more quickly than her previous one, she'll be even more happy.

Good iron if a bit on the heavy side
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

Irons well. Doesn’t need filling with water too often. A bit on the heavy side and like most irons the ca le could be a bit longer. The box it comes in can be used as a storage box. Overall a decent iron.

Good iron!
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

This iron is very comfortable to use and it's not overly complex for what it is. The only downside is that the calc-clean - unless I'm doing something wrong, which is a possibility - is very slow to use.Another good feature of this product is that it is stored in a heat-resistant box. For me, this is really useful as I normally store the iron with my linens & a hot iron, just unplugged, could be a potential fire hazard. With this iron you can place it hot back in it's box, no need to wait for it to cool down. All in, this iron is ergonomic with a few good features but the calcium clean seems great in principle but slow in practice.
