Couldn’t see the water line. 2 years old, not used very much but overheated and caught fire. Just so pleased I hadn’t left it unattended.
janet gibbbonsWorks fine but I would not buy this one again as you cannot see through the purple sides to see the water level so don't know how much water is in there or when it's about to run out, or how high to top it up.It does not glide as well over clothing as my last one. At least the cable is long enough on this one.It is very steamy.
CrocasfarmWas a good iron, a little leaky at times, but 11 months in stopped heating up and is now confined to the bin. Sure, it has a warranty, but for a cheap item it wasn’t worth the hassle of arranging a new one. More just a lesson Morphy Richards products are cheap for a reason (I had a kettle from them once that also barely lasted a year).Probably best you try something else unless you only need an iron for a few weeks...

Rubbish burns clothes and poor quality, and very heavy.
KarenCan not see the water line clearly when filling
KeithNot a bad iron for the price
LorraineHad a Morphy Richards before and it was the right weight and price. This iron is similar and irons very well. There is one major disadvantage, the colour of the water tank is dark purple which makes it nigh impossible to know how much water is in the tank. You do not know whether you are overfilling it or when it has run out. I find it difficult to believe that someone overlooked this factor and has designed it this way.
R I EdmondsDoesn’t get hot enough. Not sure what is wrong with it
Mrs susan M DaviesGood value for money. Decent weight. Only drawback is it is very difficult to see the water level due to the colour of the tank. Doesn't appear to glide any better than my previous stainless steel base plate iron. Powerful 130g steam boost. Decent length cord
CeegeeWorks well, but it is very difficult to determine the water level. This wasn't thought out very well. Would not buy again.
