Disappointed with this iron. Sticks to the material, no matter what settings I've got it on.
annemarie adamsPlease do not buy. After four months of light use, this product started tripping the electrics. I received a replacement from Amazon which has lasted a year before the same issue occurred. Contacted the manufacturer and tried their suggestions for checking it is the iron but no further help as out of warranty.
Ms. S. M. PowerKeeps tripping the electric when water on it. Thought at first it was me overfilling it but it has really done this from not long after I bought it. Time to bin it before I electrocute myself !
P chathamWas okay for around 6 months then - as I've since noticed with other buyers - it worryingly kept blowing the house fuses. Amazon wiped their hands of it. Trying to contact Tower, the manufacturer was hopeless. They don't make it in the least bit obvious how to get in touch with them. Had to resort to Twitter. Whilst they were polite, they did plenty to avoid assistance and blame. They eventually requested return of the iron to investigate. The iron cost me under £20: the return postage and 'investigation' must've cost much more than that! Why they didn't simply refund or send a replacement baffles me. Naturally they said their tests didn't indicate a particular issue. Well, countless customers experiencing exactly the same issue tells me there's an inherent fault, and it may well have H&S repercussions. In the end - weeks and weeks after the initial complaint, they offered a replacement iron - they could've offered that in the beginning and avoided an angry customer who's telling everyone else not to buy a Tower iron. Undecided what to do about the replacement now. I bought a different brand :-/
Vintage Lady1st one kept blowing the house fuses - replacement iron arrived and this one has now smoked heavily, almost catching alight and then stopped working. The iron only lasted under 6 months without issue for both faults and both times. I am now unable to return the iron or contact the manufacturer easily.

SurajuWorst iron ever. It’s real shame I can’t put -45 stars on this product.
TomasItem has stopped working all of a sudden. The plate has turned all brownish and has stopped working. It has a years gaurantee would like to see how I can claim a new iron through this or a full refund.
DilipIt worked for about 20 mins, it would stick to clothes & the ironing board, nothing turbo glide about it. Returned for a refund.
