Arrived today - unfortunately had a big dent in top LHS of the door seen when unpacking item, which then made opening the door difficult - am arranging a refund. Expected better.

Has begun to rust along the back seam. Still does the business - mainly just reheating and cooking veg - but it shouldn't be rusting already surely. Otherwise sturdy, simple and reliable. Shame really.

Rusts inside after less than 2yrs old and we only used it to re-heat.. I bought Bosch as I already love my Bosch Kettle and toaster. I wanted a basic and didn't want another appliance clock flashing. I wish I had not bought this microwave its rusted on the inside and is not as powerful as my last microwave. Not my best buy!

My old Sharp microwave broke down after many years good use. Purchased this Bosch replacement with exactly the same basic functions. However with this machine you have to make sure food is in a pyrex type container or the bottom of the food will become solid. Also the whole body of the appliance gets very hot. Plus the appliance is very lightweight so you can't push the button to open it with one hand because the whole thing moves and you therefore have to steady it with the other hand. So if you're holding a container of food in one hand you have to put it down, as you need two hands to open the thing.

I bought this to replace a Panasonic which disintegrated on the inside. This Bosch is beautifully constructed but the controls aren't up to much. Difficult to get an accurate time for cooking or defrosting.

I have never owned a microwave before so ordered just a basic small one. No grill or bells and whistles. I ordered a Bosch because I associate quality with the brand. The biggest problem with this microwave is that the dial just can't accurately be set to anything less than a few minutes. Even then, there is no accurate way to ensure you have set 60 or 80 seconds. The dial is just not sensitive enough and forget being able to set 20 seconds or 10. I am using this to heat up baby food and just need something more precise. It's a shame as the product is a good size and looks great. The seller was brilliant about returning it with a full refund. I have ordered the model up with digital display now.

This was exactly what I wanted just 2 controls, no fancy programmes - you just choose the power level and the set the timer. Unfortunately the timer control doesn't work and it just keeps running. I will get a replacement and just hope this is a duff one - not what I expected from Bosch.
