I did not want 50+ programs and 1000+ settings. I wanted one power and one time dial. This is perfect.
SmegSimple and easy to use - looks nice too
KMEKall very good
B j ALLENBought this as I wanted a better than average machine with a 2 year warranty. Happy with the overall look and quality, only downside the door catch is a bit stiff, but I hope this will get better with use.
auntyam58I was looking for basic functionality which i got with the2 dials: time set and power.
A bit noisy when running

danEasy to use. No additional extras that you never use. I hope it will last longer than my last one that rusted after 2 years. It was not a Bosch.
Romeit seems strange using a smaller microwave the one i have just replaced it with is twice the size, but i got 20 years use out of it. i have more space on the shelf now, using the Bosch seems strange to me but it still does what i want. i can now have baked potato's again, i found it easy to setup and use, what would we do if we did not have one.

ton1945Used for everyday quick cooking. Works well and easily mounts under kitchen cupboard.
Richard the greatOnly the front is brushed stainless, the rest of the cabinet is painted grey with a covering of pollythean type stuff over the top of it....not as tough and durable as it could be. otherwise very good product.
stuartatskyThis is the simplest and easiest to operate microwave one can fine. It has just 2 controllers with power and time needed to cook. Nothing else is really needed in one microwave.
A. MandziakWe like this item very much
Terry PeckI am blind. I was looking for a microwave oven that would be easy to operate, in particular one which would not have touch controls nor a digital readout. A Google search found this at John Lewis (where I eventually bought it from). And indeed it did turn out to be very easy to use, and nearly perfect for the visually impaired. There are only two controls, plus a large button to open the door. The two controls are both rotary knobs. If you buy a plastic carton of milk from a supermarket (certainly from either Tesco or Sainsbury's), the plastic screw cap is just about the same thickness as and very slightly larger in diameter than these rotary knobs. Alternatively, if you place six 10 pence coins on top of each other in a stack, you will have something which is the same thickness as and a few millimetres smaller in diameter than these rotary knobs. The rotary knobs are sited on the front face of the oven, to the right of the door, with one knob being maybe about three inches above the other. The upper knob sets the power. There are five levels of power, as follows (and this list is a quote from the manual):90 Watts for defrosting delicate foods180 Watts For defrosting and continued cooking360 Watts For cooking meat and heating delicate foods600 Watts For heating and cooking food800 Watts For heating liquidsTurning the knob clockwise increases the power level, and you can feel a positive click as you go from one power setting to the next. The lower knob sets the cooking time. Turning the knob clockwise increases the cooking time. As the time runs out, the knob slowly rotates anticlockwise, and when it finishes it gives the traditional loud ping and the cooking stops. When you turn the knob clockwise to set the cooking time, the oven starts automatically as you turn the knob (assuming of course that the door is closed at this point). In other words, there is no separate start/stop button. To stop the cooking early, simply turn the knob anticlockwise until you hear the ping. The cooking also stops if you open the door,

marmose-26Arrived today - unfortunately had a big dent in top LHS of the door seen when unpacking item, which then made opening the door difficult - am arranging a refund. Expected better.
dizzyduckA bit tinny but does the job
