The light inside keeps going wrong it flashes then dims this is the second one as the first one the light pack up altogether would not recommend this model at all

very disappointed with this product, oven temperature wouldn't go above 150c , the replacement that was sent out had exactly the same fault, returned both and got a different model

I wasn’t impressed with this Microwave. Within the first month, the inside light stopped working. Amazon were very good and replaced the Microwave. The second microwave seemed to be working on half power for some reason. Everything was taking twice as long to cook things. Again, Amazon were very good and gave me a full refund and a bought a different make. Maybe I was just very unlucky and got the only 2 microwaves in the world that were faulty

Bought this as it has a convection oven, having owned several combi-ovens over the years this one well it is just rubbish. The convection oven has a very different idea of temperature compared to the display, set 200degC and I doubt the oven gets to 150degC if that. Due to circumstances the return window has expired so I am stuck with this piece of crap.

This microwave steamed up constantly and now the light is flickering. Presumably the bulb needs replacing already but I would have expected it to last a lot longer. Not too impressed although the microwave itself heats up the food fine.

Dissatisfied, the interior light stops working after a couple of months. Amazon have replaced the original microwave, now the replacement has gone on the blink. I can remember when Russell Hobbs stood for quality, not any more it seems!

If you are looking for a good grill on a microwave look else where. This is a very good microwave with a very weak grill. You can combine functions eg 40% grill 60% microwave simultaneously with the view for easy cooking but don't be fulled even at full wack the grill is weak and does not cook well.

Good points - defrosts fast and easy - but for the price a much cheaper unit can do the same

Bad points to add to the above is condensation - a lot of it at very use needs wiping down after each use as there is a heck of a lot of moisture that accumulates upon use.

The convection oven is terrible. Dies not seem to heat up to correct temperature.

Mostly I like a combination oven as I now live alone and cooking smaller portions suits a smaller oven. I have found that it takes a long time to cook anything using the convection oven alone, otherwise the other functions are adequate

Packaging was good as are the instructions, But one critical factor is if your heating up a liquid or something that contains liquid you have to leave the door open to clear the steam otherwise the microwave starts to rust ! not a good feature at all. Dont buy this !

So this kind of works. The oven and the grill do not heat up like conventional ovens and grill. Bacon for example 15 minutes each side. We used the oven to warm up a desert, set to the packet instructions but it was only like Warm. It’s fine for normal microwave but we are still working out what it can actually do.

The microwave and convection oven work well but the grill is absolutely hopeless - it took me 40 mins to grill 2 lamb chops. Reading the manual (after the fact) revealed that they know the grill is useless and recommend that it is used only for "browning". The lamb chops tool 40 minutes to get brown so the whole thing is pointless.

Works, turntable was jerky not smooth

I purchased this item April 2017. It has lasted until last week 17th March when it started to make sparking noises and the internal light flashing in and out. In other words it is knackered. Sadly I was unaware I could return it until 18th April 2018 and binned it yesterday. I would have expected it to last a bit longer than 11 months and I am disappointed.

Purchased this as a replacement, it is almost identical to the one it replaced.
It is a little noisy but not overly so, some time on start up there is this thungggg sound, it's a little disconcerting first time, it is not a fault and it is only for a second .
Heats food just fine and for the price and mine was warehouse deal, good value.
However the original packing it came in was absolutely atrocious, battered and should been dispatched that way, I mean really bad, poorly, poorly packaged and was truly amazed to find no damage to the oven, can't say the same for me.
While lifting the box the bottom opened, having resolved this the box handle pulled apart and I tore my finger nail off, not happy.
Mentioned this to Amazon customer service, their response was to offer me 1 months extended prime membership, which was politely declined.

One year on, I thought I would add to my original review after receiving further questions.

This MW has only been used for MW meals or reheating, ( no grilling ), and it does this well.

The grill and turntable operate together but only with the door closed the same for the defrost function; open the MW door and these functions stop and the internal light will remain on until door is closed and MW restarted.

This model MW oven has one gapping design flaw, I will write more of this presently.

It is large both outside and in and powerful, some of the reasons why I purchased it but it is heavy but it is well built.

User controls were easy enough to get use to.

The internal light is dreadful, this is not the fault of Russell Hobs but European regs' which decree lamps used must be no more then 15w instead of 25w as was the case not so long ago.

In a smaller MW oven 15w might be adequate but with this model and others of a similar size it is a little like trying to light a cave with a tiny torch, it isn't going to happen, so illumination of food is poor but I've got use to it but this MW

I have had this microwave just 9 days longer than the warranty and it is broken which in my opinion is a waste of money my previous microwave lasted 25 years I may as well just keep buying cheap ones every year instead of paying extra, when the quality is missing, I'm very disappointed with this product and wont be buying another.
