If you are considering to invest your money in a cold press juicer, few things you need to be aware off. A cold press juicer uses pressure to extract juice from fruit and leafy greens, when pressure is applied few issues will surface after the unit has been used for few months. The kuvings juicer will start leaking as the juicing bowl does not have a raised inner chamber to keep the juice from seeping onto the motor, but relies on a seal that is in the juice strainer, and as the juice is moving the seal will wear out and juice will leak, causing damage to the motor which is not covered by the warranty. also as the pulp is expelled through the designated hole in the strainer, this hole becomes easily blocked when juicing leafy greens and the pulp backs up in the feeding tube, making it impossible for the lid to be removed, and very often the lid or juicing bowl will break and snap. for a juicer that cost over £400 this should not happen within few months. and it will happen even if you follow the manufacturer instruction to cut the fruit in small pieces, which again defeat the purpose of paying a premium for a juicer that takes whole fruit !
