They aren't the quickest scales on the planet they take some time to adjust to the weight BUT when something looks as good as this well whats a few seconds between friends!

KeelyI ordered these as a Christmas present for my mum, who was delighted with the aesthetics, they do indeed look very pretty! When they arrived I checked them over and, although they are very stylish, my first thought was 'they do NOT look like they are worth £109.00'!! The 'chrome' base appears to be plastic with a chrome coating and at this price I would've expected the real thing. Upon first use, the scales did nothing - we watched the DVD instructions, used new batteries and still nothing! I put it down to bad luck so returned these to Amazon and had to order a replacement pair. I am afraid to say that the experience was not much better. Although this pair switched on, this was about as good as it got! They turned themselves off erratically, mid weighing, making trying to get an accurate reading virtually impossible! This pair also found their way back to Amazon. My mum has since purchased a pair of scales (NOT Bugatti!) for a third of the price, which work brilliantly, although maybe not quite so pretty! My personal feeling is, if you want a stylish, expensive kitchen ornament then these are great - if you are a serious baker and want a high quality, functional, accurate product then, sadly, this is not it!
MissIt looks flash and expensive on the photo but when you get it out the box and find it is all made from cheap plastic, you will be disappointed that you sent about £100. Probably worth about £20.
